Specifically, I am unable to register the PS3 versions of Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 on my Bioware Social Network profile. I purchased a retail version of the Mass Effect Trilogy for PS3 and attempting to register Mass Effect 2 (there isn't even an option to register the first Mass Effect) with the UPC code from the trilogy box gives me an error that the code is not valid.  Mass Effect 3, strangely enough, IS properly registered, though not via the UPC code but rather as a result of my playing the online multiplayer.

 

Speaking to EA technical support has not been helpful as they did not even seem aware of/were unable to properly diagnose the problem.  All my DLC and add-on codes from the trilogy worked fine as one would be able to see on my registered game content page, it is just the game registration itself that does not work.

 

My BSN, PSN and Origin gamer tag is the same across all platforms: Robtachi. Any help would be appreciated!

If you are talking about the icons that are visible for a member there isn't one for Mass Effect 1 or Mass Effect 2.  If you are referring to the Games tab in your profile there should be one from Mass Effect 2, but it I believe is automatic and will just take some time to add.  It was posted yesterday that the polling of Mass Effect 1 is unreliable and so they decided to not add it to the system.

The UPC for the trilogy does not work for registering ME2 or ME3, and ME3 only registers vis-a-vis having signed up for online multiplayer.

If you want to register your copy, you'd have to go back to BSN and enter it there.  If it doesn't accept your key, you should contact Jesse Reid and/or Origin support (good luck with that one).

 

The only links for games in this new forum is for the profile link for ME3, DA2, and DA:O.  The games tab automatically updates based on content you have on Origin.

Hah, Origin support, good one. They're the reason I'm back here in the first place. Thanks for the other suggestion though, I'll try that next.
