Just started playing ME2 after playing ME3 and wanted to know if I can romance Kasumi?

No, you can't romance Kasumi.

Unfortunately, no.

 

The female LIs in ME2 are Miranda, Tali, and Jack. Also Kelly Chambers, but that's more of a casual fling. Liara can be romanced in the Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC if she was Shepard's love interest in the first game. Samara can be flirted with in ME2 but it doesn't really lead anywhere in that game. It sort of does in the ME3 Citadel DLC.

 

Also there are flirt options in ME2 with Shiala and Gianna Parasini for Male Shep, but they don't really lead anywhere.

Kasumi would not make sense as a LI. She is clearly focused on Keiji. As to any physical attraction, she obviously has a thing for Jacob.

When I first played ME2, I remember meeting Kasumi (I think she was the first squaddie I picked up), and thinking "cute Japanese theif?  I am SO going to tap that!"  Then looking in my strategy guide (yeah, yeah, I'm that guy) and finding out it wasn't an option.

 

So disappointed.  I really wanted to get a look under that hood.  And no, that's not a euphamisim.

That "Jorinth" video makes me wish the next protagonist was a freak that would leave dead Ardat Yakshi in it's wake as they atempt to mindrape you.... So ugly on the inside that they simply shutdown and die with a scream...

 

It would make for a nice cutscene when soem Asari AY hunters are closing down on an AY and find her with you character on the other side of an unbreakable glass.. Then all a sudden the AY starts screaming uncontrolably, gets spasms and dies horribly.

 

Asari hunter/Justicar: What happend?

 

Protagonist: Apparently I was too good in bed.
