If I click the quote button when I want to reply to another poster, it just opens up a blank message window rather than quoting the post I'm replying to. The other issue I'm having is that if I try to get around that by copying and pasting the text I'm replying to between the quote tags, nothing happens when I click paste.

Can you post your browser version? This looks like a browser specific error. For copy/paste, how are you doing this? I'd suggest highlighting the text, right click and copy, then right click paste. Just making sure all the bases are covered, that's all.

Got this as well. Quote and Copy/Paste isn't working for me either.

I'm usually using Chrome but tried it using IE 11, Version 11.0.9600.16428 and the problem appears here as well. It does however work if I switch to BBC code in the quick reply window and then click on quote. So either you Switch to a different browser or you use the BBC code work-around

I have the same problem with IE 11 .... no quote or copy/paste facility. I cannot also add web links.

EDIT: In fact, trying to add a web link will CRASH the entire forum page! You get a window open asking for the link, but cannot enter or cancel the option at all. You have to close the web tab completely.

I cannot copy/paste your info to quote you, but even trying the BBC switch does not work ... You get a blank page (with all buttons faded) and nothing when you switch back.
Makes things very difficult.

I tried it on IE 11 and it works via the BB-Code switch. You have to have switched to BBC code before you click quote. Clicking quote and then switching to BB code doesn't do anything.

Great ... got it. The order mattered.

I just googled a little and the quoting thing seems to be a common problem with IE11 and IP.Boards that hasn't been solved yet. Recommended there is as well the BB-code work-around or using a different browser entirely. I don't know how much BW can do something here.

Ah, yes it does. Copy/paste and quoting works now I will try that with the image problem and see if it works for that as well.
Edit: I'm an idiot. Removing the format obviously takes away ability to use other formats such as picture attachments >_>

not necessarily, you will just have to use the BB code for adding images. Usually that's [ img = PICTUREURL.JPG ] or [ img ]PICTUREURL.JPG [ / img ] without spaces.
