I remember when I was about 7 or maybe 8 and my older sister was obsessed with him. He had a film or something? Anyways, Purple Rain was one of my fave songs at that age and it still is today.

So many legends have died this year. It's a sad time.

Fact: When Dave Chappelle did the Prince skit, not only did Prince take it in stride, he also used Dave in the "Prince" getup as a cover for his single "Breakfast Can Wait."

 

I can respect any artist/celeb who can laugh at themselves every once in a while. With that said, When Doves Cry was always my ****. My first dog was named Prince. He grew to be 21 years old. Imagine a rotweiler/German shepard mix with a slight grey beard. BADASS.
