Street dates get broken all the time, usually by the smaller local stores that are beneath the "radar" of bigger corporations like EA. Happens with books, dvds, video games, everything.

Watched the first part then stopped at 3 second on part two. Damn I can't stand this! Especially I will be getting the game on 29th given that the game isn't going to be delayed in my country....

God, I'm so tempted, but I'd really rather first see it on my tv, in HD, unfutzed by Youtube, instead of my monitor... still, so tempted. I was already bad and watched about 20 minutes of the guy streaming it on justin.tv last night. Kind of regret it.

Ive never seen the whole draw to HDTV...IMO it looks exactly the same as normal TV except that the visuals are a tiny better (negligible at best)  Yes I am sure it was hooked up properly because I was the only one in the room at the time that actually said: "Whats the big deal, it looks practically the same?" To which I got a room full of angry football fan stares....To which I just shrugged and left the room lol.

Well, I must say that I have HDTV and watch HDTV programming on it - it's brilliant. If you can't tell the difference, that's sad. Given a choice between HD and regular programming, I go with the HD. The horrible fuzziness of standard definition is so blindingly obvious now when I compare it to the sharpness, clarity & detail of HD. Oh well - maybe you need one of those super-massive monitors then.  As far as gaming goes though, I don't know how much of an impact HD has. I happily play on my PC at 1920x1200 (17-inch monitor) anyway.

so alright I'm new to the whole forum here and was just wondering if theres a thread discussing why theres a 2 year time lapse in the story and why im not seeing some of the characters from ME1 i.e. Liara and Wrex

there is a story reason for the 2 yr lapse and a good one. liara and wrex(if you let himlive) will be in game but not as squadmates but have cool cameo roles

Despite my name, I didn't waste my money on that game. The only reason to play Halo is for the multiplayer.
