Judge my surprise when I met Balak after actually KILLING him in BDtS...
That... Was less than convincing...
Don't know if they fixed that since in a patch or whatnot... Haven't killed him since... ![]()

I hadn't played Me-1 for some years. So i opened the box to take the disc out. And there it was ! A second disc . A disc containing dlc, namely : Bringing down the sky. I just completely forgot about because back then i had no xbox live account.
Was the DLC on the disc, or did you need to download it?

The Platinum Hits version had a second disc that you could download Pinnacle Station and BDtS from.

Really, and with no internet connection required? If I had known that years ago, I would have bought this version.

No internet connection needed. I did some more looking into it and its only BDtS on the disc. I could've swore it was both but whatever, Pinnacle Station is pointless and doesn't add anything to the game so that dlc is worth skipping unless you want the achievements.

Thanks for the info.
Pinnacle Station is mostly a combat mission, right? I care most about story or character missions.
If BioWare doesn't release some kind of ultimate edition with all of the DLC, then I'll definitely look around for this one.

The next question is: does anyone know how to get the DLC for PC? Origin doesn't have it, nor does the old Bioware site. I downloaded my ME1 from Origin originally. I did mange to somehow get Pinnacle station but can find Bring Down the Sky anywhere.

Good to know. When I tried to find out a few years back, no one seemed to be sure.
Even the store I almost bought it from told me it wasn't on the disc, so I didn't get it.
BDtS was so much fun...
I can imagine. It sounds like there would be some great roleplaying opportunities for my main Shepard, a Colonist with a grudge against batarians.

If you ever jump to play on PC, buy the me trilogy pack. ME2 and 3 lack some dlcs (you can purchase them), but ME1 is really a definitive version, with both DLCs included.
PS however, was such a letdown for me. I think both DLCs (not to mention most of the sidequests) would work better as missions that you could play after beating the game, just like me2 allows it. The DLCs for ME1 would work greatly if they were adventures of the normandy and it´s crew after saving the citadel in the months between the end and the first me2 scene.
Story-wise whenever I go on a sidequest I feel like I should be penalized for it since I´m deviating from an urgent mission involving the fate of the galaxy. However, Saren is never more powerful nor his plan more advanced because of my delays. Sure, I can accept a miniquest on the citadel while waiting to speak with the Council, but diverting course with the ship in order to explore mineral deposits in a system far far away while Saren, Benezia and Sovereign are hatching a scheme feels like not taking priorities seriously.

I don't have a gaming PC. I've read that the PS3 version does have most of the DLC for ME1 and ME2, but also some strange things like needing a patch to import. Is there any truth to that? Anyway, I'd hesitate to buy the games again when I still won't have any DLC for ME3. If BioWare ever does come out with a true complete edition of the trilogy, and I didn't wait for it... well, I'd end up with three copies of them. ![]()
And yeah, all the sidequests feel that way when I think about it. The first time I got to play that Paragon-only mission, it was given to my Shepard right before Ilos. You know, after she stole the Normandy. Saren just waited for her to show up.
