Howdy,

Not sure if this is a bug, or a wierd setting on the thread somewhere, but I've noticed that some of my notifications are showing up in German.  Most are in English, but every now and then one is showing up as "[user] antwortete auf [thread]".  I have noticed this with different users, but it always is in relation to a thread.  Picture attached showing one such case.  Other users in the thread are also having this issue.

Have you switched your language to German before? Or has it always been set to English?

It said that you quoted a post I made (in English).

Always been set to English.  I'm wondering if it is specific to the DAI Twitter Thread.

I've had this problem for the twitter thread forever now, and now suddenly I'm getting all 'new topic' notifications in german o.O. My language is set to English.

There was a bug with the old BSN site that, when a user of another language posted something, you would receive the notification in that user's language. For example: You follow a thread in english, a user with a default language of german posts in it, you receive a "new reply" notification in german. Maybe that carried over to the new BSN as well?

So I've noticed this same problem lately as well, and not just with German. I've seen Spanish, and I think some other languages I don't recognize as well (I also don't know all the languages the forums support so I can't really narrow them down) The weird part is that not only have I never set my language to anything other than English, but sometimes the notifications from the same user are in different languages. I've only noticed this bug with "New Topic" notifications from watched subforums, and the watched forums are also only in English as far as I'm able to tell. My "Like" and "Quote" notifications are still in English last I noticed.

I currently am seeing this issue as well, but it's to forums I've subscribed to.  I'm getting emails in English, however the subject line is 'X inició un tema Subject...'
