@OP, we all laugh and cry and complain until EA shuts down BioWare
If it isn't good?

I consider hanging out with others that are pissed off and crying no fun. Gettin' too old for that. ![]()

Well on the ME3 boards after release it was quite fun, it still is, also no mods breathing down everyone's neck.... ![]()

Ugh, I was playing ToR when the "fun" of the ME3 backlash started and yes, even the Story and Lore forums wouldn't shut up about it.
Thanks but no thanks. Reading about the backlash that still continues to this day about DA2 is bad enough.

Well I actually liked ME3 over all. It wasn't perfect but I still thought it was a fun game.
Everything I've seen from DAI looks wonderful. While I've enjoyed some Bioware games more than others I've yet to play a Bioware game that I hated and I doubt DAI will be the first one.

Oh but you miss out on such colorful characters, Auld Wulf, David, etc...

<chuckle> I appreciate the thought Steel, but I'm going to politely decline.
I think Inquisition is going to be at least better than DA2. And since I felt DA2 was a good purchase for me (I speak for no one else here,) I'm willing to bet that DA:I will be worthwhile as well.

And I'm sure I'm going to have tons of fun tearing down everything I dislike about it....
Can't come out soon enough

Well then, once DA:I comes out, I might have to avoid the forums. I'd like to enjoy and indulge in DA:I before folks come into trash the game.
In the meantime...

I enjoyed ME3, I felt like it was (mostly) a fitting end.. even if you disliked the ending you have to admit the build up was pretty good, no? ![]()
For me, I stopped preordering bioware games after Dragon Age II, i'm hoping this one can convince me to buy it.. I want to get sucked into the DA world again without it being.. well as dumb as it was in DAII.
Not many companies make (or even try to make) games like Bioware does, it sucks for all gamers when they push out a flop... here is to hoping that this one can bring us back ![]()

No I don't and I won't.
ME3 was utterly disappointing on numerous levels

I already hesitate to buy to any EA game anymore and yes i did dislike ME3 simply because it wasn't fun to play IMO, had nothing to do with ending nor have ME 3/DA 2 or any BioWare game anything to do with my negative views of EA, that is the result of broken games after broken games, micros, pointless ressurections of classic games and turn them into crap etc.
That said i do not hate BioWare or EA and i understand all need to make as much money as possible but it doesn't mean i have to like it and continue to buy games that's not worth my money, if they suddenly turns around and release something worthwhile and keep it up then it may be another story.

Truth be told I don't think BioWare will let this game be as bad as Mass Effect 3, NOT THAT IT WAS A BAD GAME!! It was still good, but they seem to take a lot more cautious with DA:I. Extra time, race selection, more intense combat, more strategy, and a lot of others that am sure will be revealed in time. But if it does fail, I guess it depends on how much for me to loss faith in BioWare which does seem a bit unlikely at this point.

Steam has Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2.
The third game is only on Origin.
The series is currently on sale on Amazon as well.
We just picked up PC version of ME Trilogy from EA Origin for $20 CDN (half price sale).
Already had console version - but there's quite a few good reasons for PC version.
At that price it's christmas.

I enjoyed Anderson and Shepard's final conversation immensely, but the next 10 minutes...not so much.
I also felt Priority: Earth was a bit of chore, didn't really match up to the other war torn planets at all for me, especially on repeat playthroughs. Bit of an anti-climax gameplay wise too in that regard.

I loved ME3 minus a few things like the Miranda romance, lack of Miranda/more squad mates, auto dialogue, lacking customization and the ending. I have a lot oh faith and hopes for DA:I and I will be truly sad if it's bad. But I have good feeling I will like this game.

My faith in BioWare is pretty low, I'm obviously hoping that DA:I and eventually ME:Next are good games, but I can't bring myself to say the will be

ME3 was still a great game, despite the ending (and despite the more vanilla subdued romances and despite the more movie like feel) --- exactly.
It just was a new Bioware standard that I think many of us did not like.
Even if DAI has a bad ending - it's still leagues better than most games out there.

We have no way of knowing that, it could make DA2 look like a paragon of game design

Haha________you guys are tough.
From what I've seen in the demos - I'm gonna be very happy.
Don't forget, I enjoyed DA2 and ME3, unlike many who are more particular in their tastes.
I'll admit, the story and characters and romance options are unique.
Witcher2 didn't even come close.

If Inquisition ends up becoming Dragon Age's "Mass Effect 3", what will you do? Will you still have faith in Bioware?
Well as I loved ME3 to pieces then I suppose I would be super excited ![]()
