Haha________you guys are tough.

From what I've seen in the demos - I'm gonna be very happy.

Don't forget, I enjoyed DA2 and ME3, unlike many who are more particular in their tastes.

I'll admit, the story and characters and romance options are unique.

Witcher2 didn't even come close.

I just tend to wait until I play the game before I start making judgements on whether a game is good or not

Or if I watch a youtube LP of it

Mass Effect 3 was a great game, it was just the ending that made most people angry. That being said, I don't think that DA:I will have that problem. I'm going into this with the mind set that DA:I will be better than DA:2 which I didn't think was bad, just not as good as DA:O. I could end up being wrong and if I am.... Well I just hope that I'm not. Either way we won't know until it comes out.

One day people will hopefully realize the error in this line of thinking

Fair enough.  I usually do as well.  Reason I picked up AC series after disappointing AC1.

Funny though that you say that.

I watched the Mass Effect trailers.

I almost didn not play that series based on the trailers.

I rediscovered it later for another reason.

To think that trailers almost made me miss the ME series - well that's criminal.

Why?

I realize this is getting OT in a way.

In a way, it is not because it relates back to OP's ME3/DAI connection.

ME3 had some issues.

Still was a great game - IF you were prepared for the ending.

And now that's a moot issue with the DLC that makes it all a smoother letdown.

No there are some serious problems with ME3 that extend far beyond the ending, sadly the ending hoopla has overshadowed its numerous shortcomings

However this is not the thread for this argument

The ending wasn't the only issue for everyone

People have different opinions on how Bioware handled ME3

Alright, make a statement and then don't defend it. Listen if you didn't like other aspects of the game other then the ending then that's cool. It's your opinion. But don't state it as a fact (I'll apologize if mine came off that way too) or say that people are in error if they don't think the way you do. I thought the game was very good except for the ending. I'm not wrong in my opinion and I don't think I'm wrong in saying other people felt the same. You are obviously not one of them.

Some things are opinion based like the endings or the quality of missions, other things are not

I'll smear feces on my faces and sacrifice a goat to my family's patron river goddess in the hopes that she'll flood Edmonton.

/LandofHyperbole

I'll shrug and continue with my life, buying Bioware titles if they appeal, which they in all likelihood will. I'm sure the devs wouldn't be too chuffed if it sucked either.

If Inquisition ends up becoming Dragon Age's "Mass Effect 3", what will you do? Will you still have faith in Bioware?

I'm not asserting it'll be good or it won't be good, just curious.

As for myself, if DA:I flops as badly as ME3 did, I think by then I'd lose hope in Bioware's future installments.

It wont because it isn't a triolgy like Mass Effect was.

So they wont end that wa, and ME3 didn't "flop" the story at the end "floped" the "game" didn't

I'll always buy BioWare games no matter what, sure DA2 didn't live up to it's predecessor and ME3 had a "bad" ending (although I didn't mind the ending) and I don't care if DAI fails I'll buy it anyway and I will always be a BioWare fan.

Gahhhh.  Now I have to wade through 38 pages to find your comments because your profile only shows one page of your most recent comments.

This new site is great in may ways.  But that's not so good.  OT leniency would be helpful.

Relax guys.  I would much rather him do what he did (point it to a different thread) than to continue taking this thread an an off topic tangent that would likely result in the thread getting closed.

It's important to remember (in general) that all statements along these lines are opinions, even if not explicitly stated and even if stated bluntly or tersely.

Yes, because only EA games are bug ridden and it's not like DAO, which was done before EA got on the scene had NO bugs at all, including BG2, right?

Oh wait..........

Oh boy, i must have missed the part when i said that those games(or any game) that arent published by EA were bug free. Relevance, your post lacks it.
