Sometimes (especially on Reactor) enemies get stuck in the roof-top spawn spots, but still look like they're on the field. In which case you have to kinda guess where they actually are, which is usually somewhere directly above where they seem to be. Area damage weapons are a lot better for this, obviously, but a lot of powers are pretty useless since they won't lock on to the real location.

That's why it's important to pay attention to where enemies actually spawn. They jump down from the roof on Reactor, they can get stuck on the balconies on Glacier and White, sometimes they get stuck under the ledges on Giant, etc.


I find it helpful if there's a squad mate using a turret on the map.
Watch where its shooting at.

Sometimes (granted it is rare) there are cases where enemies glitch and cannot be killed at all - your team may have thought that this was one of those cases.  I have seen nemesis with 1 health bar that simply cannot be killed.

I have had massive lag spikes that make it impossible to move and you cant kill anything.

3 days ago, I've seen an invincible Marauder and an invincible Geth Hunter in 2 seperate games. Not even missiles could take them out.
Sometimes the enemies will just fall through the map and die after some time.
 
I guess it was just a bug.

Sometimes a failed over-the-cover grab will cause this. The only thing I've seen that's able to kill them after is Geth Turrets or Combat Drones.

I had this happen twice over the last week or so. Both times on Vancouver. The Geth Hunter we never could kill and the host quit so we had to redo the wave. The second time was a Cannibal though and we happened to have a Fury on the team and the Annihilation Field took it out.

this actually happens to me a lot with nemesis on reactor. they take insane amounts of damage, but do not fire or move. 90% of the time, it just dies randomly. the other 10% you need to stand next to an ammo box and just shoot it continuously

this what i usually notice. if something interrupts the grab from being performed  enemies suddenly run away and become invincible. seems to happen to me a lot.

You can  create invincible enemies at any time, and can do it intentionally, not that people would do that right . at places where you can transition along a corner in cover. you must initiate a grab, then after the enemy starts to get pulled towards you transition to the new piece of cover, the enemy will teleport across the cover while retaining the invulnerability from the grab, boom one invincible army at your disposal, usually the host and creator can use melee to kill them, and they will die if they attempt to vault cover or climb a ladder,

 

I may or may not have sicked an army of invincible geth on a missile glitcher once, or twice. to the best possible results :devil:

This is pretty much what I was saying, just more eloquently put and easier to understand.  :D

PS: I also tried biotic explosions and nothing.
