Would you like to see your Warden and Champion back in Dragon Age 3 if they did it this way...?

Okay, there has been lots of talk and views about seeing our Warden's and Champion's (Hawke's) in Dragon Age 3. A few don't want to see them at all, looks like most just want them to be mentioned / talked about but not seen and only a few of us want to see them again.

A lot of people are worried that if our Warden's and Champion's come back that they will loose the personalities we gave them. I completely understand why people don't want that to happen (I wouldn't either) but I was just interested to know what you guys thought of this idea.

What if our Warden and Champion came back and in cut scenes we could also control what they said along with our new character? I very much doubt our old characters will be joining our party (although I would love to have that happen (providing I can still control what they said also) but if we where able to control what the Warden and Champion could say we wouldn't loose their personalities that we gave them would we because we would still be in control of them?

What does anyone else think of this idea and does anyone else have other ideas or hopes of what they would like to see in the third game?

Yes, please.  I've been for this idea for the last couple of years, actually.  I hope Bioware takes the idea to heart and makes it happen for us.   It shouldn't be a difficult thing to do considering that in Origins and DA2 we were given a separate character to control.  Why should giving us a chance to control our old protagonist cause problems.  (Other than "I don't want to play my Warden ever, ever, ever, ever again".

I have no problem at all with seeing old PCs again if they remain PCs, and with that solution they essentially would (at least enough so that it wouldn't be a problem for me). That would certainly cover all my problems with seeing the Champion again, but I'd also need "no voice or at the very least the same voice sets as in Origins but expanded" and "appears in a game where elves look like they did in Origins, not in DA II" clauses for the Warden. One would also need to make sure they looked right, and I'm not sure if we're going to be getting that capability (slapping a helmet on would do for warriors, but would be a bit odd for other classes).

I'd love to be able to have multiple PCs and just play all of them in one group (I prefer having multiple PCs enough that I typically play Baldur's Gate in multiplayer just so I can make a party instead of hiring NPCs), but that I'm sure isn't on the table.

Really, I think just having non-bugged references to past characters will be quite nice. I am picky enough that I would rather not have even the slightest chance of encountering the past two characters if they wouldn't be under our control, so my cynicism tells me that's just the safest way.

Yeah I see what you're saying and agree but I doubt they are going to do that sadly  :crying:. Bit of a shame but I didn't thin they would have done it.
