I not sure I have the knowledge to judge the morning war either but they kinda force us to with this choice don't they? I also don't think the quarains or the Geth should be forgiven so easily. The difference is I feel the quarians have actually paid for there actions tenfold. They were reduced to 1% of there population, forced to live inside suits on sterile ships for 300 years in exile. Not only that but These quarians in our games are only the decendants of the the actual quarains who commited the crimes of which they are being accused. None of the quarains from the morning war even still exist at this point but the Quarian people still suffer the consequences. The Geth brutally won their freedom and then just kinda sat around on rannochfor 300 years until Saren and sovvy showed up and part of them split and attacked the citadel with them...

I guess I didn't really have a point with my post, though what's the point with yours, I see what you're saying, but I think I'm still missing the gist of it. are you saying the quarian are right because they have suffered? or the geth are wrong because the quarians suffered far more & for far longer?

As many times as I've turned off PC's, laptops, tablets, and cell phones, I should be charged as a war criminal.

as far as I can tell, if you can turn it back on again you're fine. if you put a few 9mm rounds through it... not so much.

I *may* have taken a PC out to the shooting range once or twice, and dealt with it using a Mosin Nagant. But you can't tell ANYBODY!
 
 
Necanor: Did you wear gloves(preferably work gloves) when you disposed of the laptop? You wouldn't want to leave any fingerprints behind.

you probably want to scrub the hard drive too, if they can recover your personal info off it you're toast.

My point is if I have chose who to side with based on my knowledge at hand. Then I would side with the quarians not only because I find It hard to punish them for things that their ancestors did and the population have already been punished for. But
I don't feel there is sufficient evidence that the reaper code is completely safe or that allowing the Geth to upload it and kill off the quarians will be beneficial to the war effort in any way really . Sidenote I also believe allowing the Geth to kill quarians to become "truly alive" with reaper tech, is just kinda dumb.

Of course, the cops ain't gettin me for this.

The Mosin Nagant is a nice gun btw, though I prefer the Mauser 98 when it comes to bolt action rifles.

Of course the optimal solution is to make peace for the assets and then take proper care of the Geth by choosing destroy. The same logic applies to the 'phage: kill Wrex in ME1, betray Wreav, use Krogan as cannon fodder and let them go extinct after the war. You get two useful 'allies' against the Reapers and the two greatest post-war threats take care of themselves.

 

It may sound immoral, but think of how much trouble we would have saved if both Russia and Communist China had been obliterated post-WW2. We would have arcologies and cities on Mars by now.

I don't actually work at a graveyard, just graveyard shift at my work(11pm-7am)

it was odd, what I heard and what was actually said or implied were completely different. what I heard didn't sound like something you'd say (or something I'd assume you'd say), so I made the assumption you were talking about something I wasn't seeing.

It's alright, that's probably partially my fault as I was replying to multiple people, and not always quoting. Plus I've been semi distracted by the real reason I'm up anyways... My shiny new N7 Destroyer! If only I could use this guy in single player! Such a beast
