Here is my Tempest attempt from last night. I have to learn the spawns and be more patient, but that should be obvious from the video.

Great video but I couldn't help to feel you were too reckless

I'm totally too reckless until I figure out exactly what I want to do, but taking these chances let's me know how far I can push. Once I figure out the map and the mechanics for the each wave I slow it down and limit myself. Usually that takes more tries than I care to admit.

Still haven't watched that far yet, are you telling me that you dodged two rockets in one game?

Come to think about it, the few times that I've managed to dodge Atlas rockets have been with my Drell Adept, is it something with their dodge that makes it easier to not get hit?

The thing that makes them bad at dodging Banshee Warps is what makes them "okay" at dodging Atlases. Small quick changes in direction are best against Atlas' rockets, running in the same direction as the rocket and then turning slightly is still the best way to dodge them.

Wait, bad at dodging Banshee Warps? I've never had a problem doing that. Atlas rockets always hits me though (when I actually manage to dodge one it feels like I won the lottery).

I shouldn't say, "bad," I should say, "takes better timing as opposed to all the other dodges."

Makes sense. Anyway, what's the next weapon that you plan to solo with? I'm curious about the GPS or the Scorpion on this guy, have you tried one of those weapons on him before?

GPS is incredibly easy so I'm saving that until I get frustrated. Scorpion might be the one that makes me so frustrated I use the GPS. I tried once with the Scorpion and the summary is this:

Born to be a sidearm. Even as a primary I have to run it as a sidearm to my powers. The lack of direct damage made the Avenger look useful at stopping Banshees. It's great when things are funneled together but it takes so much time I have to watch out for getting flanked or letting a Banshee through. But when I played I pretty much took a nap on Wave 7 against Cerberus lol.

Hmm, the Scorpion has always been one of my favorite weapons and I always use it as a primary whenever I use it. I would have thought that the Scorpion would have a great synergy with the DAI's powers?

And yes, when getting frustrated there is nothing better than to equip the GPS and just punish the enemy! Whenever Geth manage to make me rage rocket I commit suicide, go to the lobby, pick my GI GPS with Disruptor IV and Shotgun Amp III, choose Geth as enemy again and let them have a taste of their own stagger!

If you have a video of using it as a primary, do you want to share? I might just need some outside help at utilizing it properly.

I have a bunch of them on my Youtube channel, mostly on my Engineers and Sentinels but also some on my GI and GT I believe. The most recent one is not the best one though because I didn't use it that well since I had been away from the game for so long. But I'll see later if I can find an old video of it somewhere.

Or we could do some duos and just practice with it a bit, I want to get good with that weapon again  :)

Yeah we can do that, I should (hopefully) not be getting on too much the next two weeks because of finals, but send me a friend request and I'll accept it next time I'm on. :)

Sure thing. And since I don't have the Scorpion yet on my new account I'll send you the request from my old one with the maxed manifest. Will do it next time I get online.

This will be a lot of fun, using the Scorpion again like that  :)

Just as a side note, have you ever tried the Scorpion with Explosive Rounds on the Turian Ghost with Chain Overload against Geth? It is the only way so far that I've been able to make at least some use of the Explosive Rounds and it is quite fun to behold :D

New times to post and a small rant.

Executioner: 36:00

Suppressor: forty-******-eight:twenty four (48:24) Mission successful - no extraction - THREE ****** DEVICES. I'll leave an asterisk by this one but holy **** this thing is worse than a Harrier for ammo runs. This was also my first time ever using the gun. It is awesome against mooks but bosses, I might as well roll over and accept my fate.

I'll update with pictures and a short video soon.

I don't claim to be good with either of these guns. In fact I think I suck with them both, but here are some videos anyway.

Suppressor:

Wave 10 before i ran out of memory

Hopefully I have some actually impressive videos up soon. Both of those guns didn't feel very natural to me.

First negative recoil gun done! The Particle Rifle would be godly on him if it weren't for the negative recoil. I died a few times just because I couldn't see in front of me lol.

5 Assault Rifles done today, with only one fission mailed. With this streak I want to keep going but I think that's enough.
