I have ME 2 on origin and I just can't get TexMod to work with it. I've done the whole renaming thing on both MassEffect2.exe and ME2Game.exe and used a batch file to do it for me but still no luck yet it works fine with ME 3.

 

Is there anything else I can try?

Origin bloks TexMods for ME2 and ME in my PC too. So far I found no solution. I didn't try ME3.

Disable Origin overlay for that game.

Hey, for ME1 and 2, you don't actually need to do the trick. You can run it directly from Texmod...but be sure to run it as administrator. And for ME2, be sure you're using the ME2Game.exe as your executable. Also, I don't know if it makes a difference, but I do run Texmod from inside the same folder in Binaries as my executables are located.
