Well most of the helpful tips have already been covered so I guess, i'll just add a small technique that can make objective waves easy..
Running with the Pizza
Step 1 : Walk to the pizza
Step 2: Pick up the pizza and then press spacebar (sprint button)
Step 3: Mash that button, you'll drop the pizza while you run like an idiot mashing that button.
Step4: turn around, and run to the dropped pizza and press spacebar to duck to the nearest wall instead.
Step 5: Press spacebar to get out of that cover and then press spacebar again to combat roll a little further away from the pizza instead of picking it up.
Step 6: Take a deep breath, and slyly look around if anyone noticed you do that, then press spacebar to pick up pizza again
Step 7: Now press spacebar again to run but drop the pizza for the "n"th time instead.
Step 8: turn back and pick it up just as phantoms and dragoons catch up to your location.
Step 9: Pick it up for real this time and with lightning fast reflexes mash that spacebar
Step 10: Pizza would already have been dropped in the first mashing instance ,with you running like an idiot while phantom palm bust the sh*t out of your arse.
Step 11: Now the pizza is dropped in the middle of phantom, dragoon party. At this point just run away to the opposite side of the map and let other player handle the sh*tstorm..
hope this handy tip helps... I'll see if I can write some more...

The internet is not short of tips and guides.
Finding information is not hard.
I found this funny video of tips - it's quite old but it covers the basics:

The most useful thing a noob pug can do is to use a missile on a huge cluster of enemies rather than a single boss.
I understand what you're saying, but Atlases are big and scary. And Banshees are extra scary. All their screaming is very stressful.

I got an AIU and Crusader, so I was basically ready for Platinum as soon as I started.
Isn't the human male adept ready from the time you put your disk in the tray the moment you get the game? Ready for platinum regardless of whats in the gift packs....

one thing about finding that information to consider is that it has to be generated first. I'm also not asking for advice from other sources. In any case, I made this thread just because I am curious to see the guides people here would make. Disappointed as usual.....

Abandon hope, all ye who enter here.
One does not simply walk into Multiplayer - the Black Gates are guarded by more than just Reapers. There is Evil there that does not sleep. The great Eye is ever watchful. 'Tis a barren wasteland, riddled with fire, and ash and dust - the very air you breathe is a poisonous fume.
Ergo, etc. and furthermore, and without further ado, "clatue, verata, nectie *cough cough REEGAR*".
*warranty void unless used properly - please read all directions on proper care and feeding of your Reegar. Use responsibly.
If all else fails, Harrier Enterprise solutions may be the answer for you - especially if used in conjunction with the Geth Armory "GI". Void where prohibited.

CP≠skill, but gives the general idea on how long the players has played.
If one's CP= <200 and difficulty= >gold, go to his detailed information and press triangle/Y.

1. Set the game for giant/reaper and select juggy
2. Put on every single melee gear you have and Reegar with omni-blade (Don't worry, reegar is only for the omni-blade, you won't shoot it)
3. Plug mic once the game starts and start giving orders to your squad. Tell them that they NEED to stay in the LZ and next to you if they want to survive.
4. Melee everything and continue giving advices and orders because you know what you're doing.
5. Profit
