Nah, they just have a tad more detail added to them. Their skin complexion may seem more human, but I think they definitely look more realistic this way. Plus, all qunari looked exactly the same in DAII, which wasn't too much of an eye pleaser either.

Look very similar to DA2.

What's with all this "redesign" as a reaction to what are very small differences...

That said, it's "pre-alpha" so. Might look different in the finished product.

If we can have those unique eyes from DA2, you'll hear no complaints from me.

They do look quite similar to DA2's qunari. Which is good.

...Hoping for neat skin colors...

They look less cartoony, I also prefer it when npc of the same race don't all look the same , there should be variation in facial features just as in humans.

I think they're a lot bigger than the Qunari in DA2 (which is good). I like that they're not as cartoony, as mentioned above, and it makes me really excited to see the Lady Qunari. I kind of wish they looked like Sten, on the cover of that comic, but I still like what I've seen thus far!

I want some hornless Qunari, too.

Why was it necessary for Sten to be shirtless in this picture?

I'm just reading pre-alpha work in progress. Won't judge right now.

I would say the same, but thats what I said when I saw everything pre-launch of DA2.

"Oh, it only looks so barren because its pre-alpha/alpha"

And then poof. Pre-alpha looking game turned out to be game at release.

So I'm more careful with what I call alpha and beta. hahaha

Though like I said before, I have no issue right now with what that qunari looks like.

Cosmetically they are fairly drastic in comparison, you might not care about what you view as a minor difference but artistically, they would be very different in comparison. I use "redesign" because essentially that is what it is

I, for one, welcome our new slightly redesigned, goat-head overlords.

We'll find out a year after launch that 20% of players played as the Daniel Bryan race

Oddly enough, I like the african style facepaint on the Qunari.

I'm not seeing a huge diff head wise but I think what can throw people is in that pre-alpha and short clip is the baldness as we never saw one with out hair before! (or did we and I missed something?)

Mark of the Assassin also gave us a look at more differences with hair styles/ paints than what DA2 base game did with using the same npc model over and over.

Considering the jump in looks from DA:O to DA2 with them, if there is any major changes in the finished game I won't be shocked.

There's no point to Quanari without horns.
