When they use powers vs an air born Praetorian. Or using power amps because they believe it will give them a bigger biotic explosion. Or if they have a piercing mod on a gun that cant pierce.

Or do you just mind your own business and play the game because you do not like when someone backseats your gaming.

How far will you go? Will you tell them how to build certain kits?

Usually, either me or someone in my gaming party will send the random a message, just in case they do something like that. We definitely don't want them to waste an equipment slot on something that will end up being useless.

No, when I see a random with piercing mod on a falcon,I put on a pistol amp gear while only having a katana equipped. If you can be clueless then I get to be worse than you. I have always strive to be worse than the next guy.

I don't mic, so no. If I can somehow be coerced into using my mic by playing a few games with the same group of pugs suing mics, I usually tell them.

Pugs really have a hard time grasping the concept of hitscan/projectile weapons.

Nah, unless someone asks. I figure it's their game, let 'em play it how they want.

I don't use mic with randoms but when I see something really wrong in their loadouts I always send them a message about it. Don't care about what they do in the game though since I usually just let them die and then I solo the thing instead.

Sometimes I mention if they're doing something silly. Most of the time I say nothing and let people find out the hard way - such as Mr N7 Fury with a Typhoon.

If the opportunity presents itself for me to lend a hand, I'd actually prefer to do so rather than let them run around doing something wrong. I won't force my opinions on anyone but I like giving advice if they're willing to be receptive. Unfortunately, though, a lot of gamers don't like to be told that they're doing something counterproductive, so I pick my spots.

That actually sounds like a fun build. Skip AF and just have DC and Throw then pick weapon damage in passives and use it as a long to medium range biotic soldier. Just have some Warp Rounds on and you'd be good to go!

Not just gamers. When I was working as a Personal Trainer I saw that a lot, and same when I was working as a manager and had to correct my staff about stuff.

I recently had a player who tried to tell me what to do during a whole game of ME3 MP, I ignored it and ran around the map like an idiot killing everything before he could even snipe from his little spot up in the Dagger tower.

Mostly true.

I will occasionally offer advice, especially HVB on GPS or similar projectile weapon fails. If they are receptive/ask questions, I am an open book. I do preface these gems of wisdom with, "totally not telling you how to play but...."

If I see someone with a piercing mod on the Adas (or some such) I'll point out that it's a waste of a mod slot.

Depends. I feel people out. If they're chill and open to advice, I'll give it. If they're raging and slapping their controller while letting out attrocious squeals because of their performance... not so much.

If they keep dying the same way, I sometimes do.
