I collect the foundation comic series.....are they officially stopping at 13? Also if they are, will they start another new comic series or new book series?

Comics- no freaking idea

 

ME4- in development no other true facts.

 

ME movie- is going to be made maybe, if they find the right director and actors, no plans on anything yet. it is currently in pre-pre-development stage

I'd wager that around when the comics end (likely June-July 2014; reminder that E3 is June), that's part of the trigger for information about the next game to come into the forefront of Bioware's activities (aside from the final leadup to DA:I, of course).

 

They are stopping at 13, yes. The final issue probably centering around more direct involvement with Shepard.

 

'ME4' is confirmed now to not be 'Mass Effect 4'. Whether it'll be 'Mass Effect: ____' or 'Mass ___: ____' or 'Mass ____' or something else entirely, we dunno. But it's not Mass Effect 4.

 

Movie still set to happen but in, like kata said, pre-development stage. Trying for like 2018-2019 though, so that's still a few years.

The game has to be called Mass Effect. If they change the name then they cut the connection to the franchise, even if its still made in the same universe. It would be like calling the next game in GoW franchise something else rather than GoW, something like Gears of Man, or something. Also while its true they keep telling us that the next game is not ME4, its something supposed to be called ME:Next however chronologically in the game production cycle it is ME4. Like Dragon Age:Inquisition is also DA3.
