This is really annoying. I am replaying through the Dragon Age games in anticipation for DA:I. I am finishing up the remaining DA:O content now (DLC) before I head into DA2. However, I have the Dawn of the Seeker bluray and I am planning on watching it just before I play DA2 but I am not sure if that is where it belongs.

 

Annoyingly enough, it seems impossible to find an official timeline regarding this movie. Is it before DA2? Is it after DA2? Is it during DA2? It is like one big mystery and I do not want to watch it now before DA2 when the content of the movie is surrounding post DA2 events.

 

So yeah, can someone please tell me when Dawn of the Seeker takes place in the DA timeline? Before or After DA2? Thanks

It takes place in 9:22, which is 8 years before Origins and 18 years before we see her interrogating Varric in DA2.
