Always gear and level I stuff on Gold as I have tons of it anyway. I´ll upgrade consumables and sometimes switch characters in a lobby depending on what I see.

I don't mind being dropped into games in progress, so I always gear up, and usually with my best stuff.  If it's a disaster, it simply means I need to play a few more earn the credits to shop for replacements!

Always permanent gear. As for the rest: For Gold I put on lvl I stuff and switch to III/IV if I arrive in a lobby. I seldom pug Plat and I leave those if I arrive in game.

 

Same here, I put on Level 1 stuff to search for Gold Lobby, that way I don't waste the Level 3 stuff joining Wave 10 in progress

I make sure to eat all nearby snacks I feel like eating, use the restroom, and take sips of gatorade before searching for a lobby because who knows when the opportunity will present itself again after that?

yes of course. I prefer it if I search into a game in progress. better on wave 10.

I always gear up, but when i'm searching for a game, i won't use my best gear, for fear of the game throwing me into a wave 9,10 or 11 part of a game...i thoroughly gear up when i'm in a lobby and look at the buildup of the team and the enemy set.

Always gear up. I hate waiting people in my own lobbies so don't want to do the same to other people. If I get dropped into a game in progress I just leave. Don't really care if I lose those equipment.

There is no right or wrong answer and I'm not judging you but why not stay and play it out for a bit first? I mean if they are bad then by all means leave but what if you get dropped in with a decent group?

Sometime I might start a search with Cryo Ammo equipped, but otherwise I do not have the habit.

I don't equip consumables even though I have plenty of them and plenty of credits. Mostly because I don't play off-host anymore.

It always depended on how much consumables I had, simply I wouldn't equip my last Pistol Rail Amp3 and Adrenaline Module3 before searchin' for a game. Nowadays I play mostly with friends, or host my own games and let the pugz join me, so it's not a problem.

Depends on what kit I am playing, and how many of the chosen consumables I have left.  If I'm playing one of my not-so-good kits and am running low on the desired consumables, then no, I won't equip them until I see a decent looking lobby.  On my best characters, I will always load up on consumables, since even if the other players suck, there is a reasonable chance that the consumables will give me the edge I need to pull them through to the end.

For gold I usually gear up, for plat usually not (sometimes I put on 2nd level gear).

Always. I spend my time deciding what I want to play as before I lobby up, and make sure I have the appropriate gear. If I get landed into a game in progress, I hardly ever back out. It's a good challenge to see what the pug lottery has shit out for you that day. If I find a lobby in waiting, I'll assess the other players and either swap out my character for synergy.

I gear up. Got so much swag these days, no way I'm gonna use it all up before they pull the plug. I'll save me melee mods for special games though.
Surprising how many scrubs lately ready up for Gold with no gear. One in fifty is actually good enough to justify playing a game without at least a level one ammo type.
