To edit a previous post it's beside the quote button on the lower right. You've already heard my comments on your quarian OC, but I'll say it again. I think it's really well done, and I think you especially got the slightly elongated neck right. It's nothing like my headcanon for quarian appearance, but I don't think I've seen a piece of art that does quite emulate it. Have you been thinking about doing more art for her?

That's nicely done, Wanako. I second what Stephen said about the neck as if I find it quite fitting. I personally don't view quarians as having purple skin, but that's just my opinion and it doesn't detract from the quality of the image itself.

That name sounds similar to the name says in ME2 as the last Quarian charged with treason.

Man, that's awesome, Wanako! I remember you talking about your quarian OC in the old grew, I just never saw the pictures. (at least I don't think I did. Forgive me if I've forgotten >_>)

 

My drawing skills only venture into basic cartoon styling. I am so terrible at drawing the human form.

Yeah, there was a woman named something something vas Selani who was charged with treason. I don't remember her name but the ship name is familiar.

*facepalm* There it is... Thanks dude! Yeah, once i get back into drawing I'll start with more art for her. I've been a bit busy coding and tweaking a personal ENB profile for Skyrim.

Thanks! Yeah, after going through a few designs and other people's work, I no longer see them as having purple skin. It just doesn't add up. I will redesign her to my new vision soon but still keep this appearance somewhat.

yes! excellent! you remember correctly. Actually, not much info was given on that quarian and it doesn't specify anywhere at which point in history Anora'Vanya vas Selani existed. Tali just mentioned that she was the last one to be exiled. I like to think that this round of quarian admirals were much more trigger happy than their predecessors in exiling people...

 

So, in my story she's Anah's mother. She was orphaned when Anora and her bondmate sacrificed themselves when stopping those Batarian pirates from attacking the flotilla after the defense schematics were stolen. Her clan name carries a heavy hatred amongst the fleet and she lives most of her childhood and teenage years receiving abuse from most quarians for her mother's mistake.

 

She's a wicked good sniper (almost Vakarian-level), a prodigy in weapons design and modification, has a love affair with her highly modified M-92 Mantis and dual wields heavy pistols. She went on her pilgrimage and was eventually one of the newest members of Garrus' team on Omega. She was already injured and down for the count by the time Shepard showed up, leaving Garrus alone to fend for himself.

 

So yeah, this is my retarded background-story on her, so please forgive any inconsistencies with lore. I haven't thought everything out completely yet.

actually, i failed to mention that part. lol. no, she survived along with Garrus. She was was heavily injured, multiple suit breaches and the infections where spreading fast. Mordin was already on the ship so she barely made it with his help.
