I know it won't happen at release but maybe down the road, it would be amazing to see an update of DA:O & DA2 for the Next Gen consoles and packaged with DA:I. Get all 3 games plus the DLC to play on the next gen hardware. It will be nice having "The Keep" when it comes out to remake the choices but still would be fun to see an updated more polished version of the 1st two games on next gen.

Well, they technically did that for Mass Effect, so they might have something planned like that for Dragon Age.

Hopefully, they include all the DLC, unlike the shady Mass Effect Trilogy pack.

Eh, I'd rather see awesome new games than live in the past. This is the reason why movies keep getting rebooted.

Agreed with other posters on this - remaking a game for a new platform isn't as simple as pushing a button the endeavor is close to the same amount as making the game the first time.

I'd rather they stick to new content. If you want the best graphics possible for the game, just get the PC versions.

According to reports on IGN Bioware is going to release a "remastered" version of the Mass Effect trilogy for Next Gen.

I don't want it to take away from DA:I I just think it would be nice to be able to play all 3 Dragon Ages on Next Gen system. Could wait for like an Anniversary edition of DA:O to release a 3 game pack.

That's still only a rumor at this point

And IGN isn't really a good source anymore

Eh. I'd doubt it, honestly. Especially when the trilogy is on sale retail right now for $30. Why sink tons of resources into remastering the game when the demand isn't there? The only fans who'd be interested would be people who already own the games. Playstation owners finally got to play the first game with the release of the trilogy, so there would be very few people who would want this, other than the most hardcore fans.

Not saying the rumor isn't valid, I just don't see the cost ratio being tipped towards it happening.

But it's not really a trilogy, is it?

These games might come to Playstation Now right? The new streaming service Sony is working on. I'm under the impression that it is going to be their answer to playing Ps3 games on a PS4. So, it wouldn't necessarily be remastered (and idk what Sony's general plan for DLC is for PS Now) but it could be accessed on a next gen system that way at least. Unless I'm totally misunderstanding the purpose of Now, which is possible haha

Only if they can make DAO and Awakenings run on a multi-core PC without crapping out every few hours.  Even when I turn off all cores but one, and run Awakenings in XP-compatible mode, it just falls over at random intervals.
