Second is an elite order dedicated to fighting only demonspawn and forces of Chaos. They recruit only the best what humanity can offer.
Those are superficial similarities at best.
If the Grey Knights were an order dedicated to fighting the Necrons, the comparison would make more sense.
The Grey Knights are part of a specific order within the Imperial Inquisition - Ordo Malleus, and don't have the same autonomy and far more authority than Grey Wardens.
Grey Wardens can be selected from anyone that a senior Grey Warden deems worthy, but not guaranteed to survive the joining. Grey Knights have to be psykers, powerful psykers in particular.
Their armour and weapons are designed to resist and damage any warp spawned horrors and daemons because they are specialised in fighting them.
Grey Wardens are necessary because of Blights lead by an Archdemon, because a Warden must be nearby when the Archdemon is slain.
Grey Knights are more like Templars. If Templars were equipped for and specialised in fighting demons and abominations.
Technically, this could be accomplished if there were mages and dwarves amongst Templar ranks, and all Templar weapons and armour were enchanted with magic and elemental resistance and damage.
I would liken the Tyranids more to the Darkspawn than the Necrons. Though the ONLY part of similarity on the Tyranids/Darkspawn is the fact they got the perpetual munchies, have a hive mind and consume and assimilate other races (the Tyranids literally and the Darkspawn through Broodmothers).

I don't think darkspawn actually need to eat.
The Darkspawn = the Necrons does have more similarities when you take the powers of the Taint vs the magic of the Fade (regular and Blood Magic) and compare it to the Necron's technological powers vs the powers of the Warp.
The Taint doesn't draw power from the Fade. The Necron's tech does not draw on the Warp.
In fact the Taint could also be considered antithesis of Fade based magic, since magic powers based on utilizing spirit magic doesn't work on Darkspawn. Likewise the Necron tech is the antithesis of the Warp based powers, as directed mental (psykic) attacks don't work on the Necrons.
But the similarities ends there.

Why? Darkspawn are not that different from demons. Necrons are basically sci-fi undead.

What if I told that some recruits also may not survive the rigours of training and the later medical treatments one must undergo to become a full-fledged Grey Knight?

My point being you mostly drew parallels between the DA world and the interpretation of the warp and order of the Imperium of man. Psykers are treated differently across different cultures in Warhammer, and Grey knights are a space marine order.
D&D has the astral plane.
Earthdawn and Shadowrun have astral space.
Etc etc.
The idea that magicians pull their power from the Ether/whatever that is sometimes a nasty place isn't a new idea. Many fantasy realms use this as the basis for magic. The reason being it makes for cool storytelling. Power leading to corruption is a very human thing, so our fantasy stories reflect this.
40k is influenced by Lovecraft stories, Tolkien, by Frank Herberts Dune (heavy influence that one) and Micheal Moorcock's Elric setting, many mythologies like the Norse, just naming a few
The Warp and the Fade are a lot closer than the Fade and D&D's astral plane. It is my understanding that 40k predates both Earthdawn and Shadowrun.
Dune series also has a God Emperor but I think the 40k setting is derived more from the historical Holy Roman Empire and their form of Christianity. Thereby easily incorporating the chaos cults, Inquisition, Norse mythology, etc. We know that the creators of Warhammer were thinking about the HRE as well.
We can speak of Navigators and anti AI but if anything can be called common it is the dangers of AI. And 40k has a unique perspective on the Navigators, woven from its backdrop of the Warp, etc. really very distinct and remarkable
