I purchased Mass Effect through Games on Demand and I just recently beat the game and there is no New Game Plus option. It just shows resume game or start new game and when I select resume game it starts me out in the middle of battle with saren. Is it suppose to auto-save after you beet it? How will I transfer my ME1 character to ME2 if i don 't have saved game showing that i beet it?

Start New Game - Select Existing ID - Win Some More.
EDIT - You can't see your endgame save, it's invisible. apart from the above method.

You have to start a new game. In the process you have the option of selecting a pre-existing profile.
