I recently lost all the savegames from ME1.
I am currently replaying the game, yet the idea of having to start from ME1 over again every time I want more then ~3 choices to have an effect on the storyline is a bit daunting.
So I was wondering, would it be possible to "create" an ME1 save artificially somehow? Could someone make an editor capable of this?

I dunno if someone could, but it certainly hasn't been done. The game only takes like 8 hours (for main quest), so you still have plenty of time and you get a refresher on your storyline as well. It only took me 26 hours to do every single quest and side quest including the 2 DLC.

But from what I read, some side quests have an effect as well.
And playing the same 10 hours over again and again adds up to a lot of time.

Well, as I said, it took me 26 hours to do EVERYTHING. well, I only did one playthrough as achievements don't mean a thing for ME2 nor does level nor gear.
