Hi All,

Having placed some lighting around a sewer (that has water), I noticed that when in game, some areas suddenly switch to "dark" for a tile (subject to angle of viewing). I have seen this before within the toolset, but always managed to work around it by moving the light around a bit. However, this is now occurring *after* doing that, and when I am in the game itself, which looks bad.

It reminds me of the NVidia texture bug (yes, I have an NVidia card), but hoped this may be just a setting that I can alter somewhere to stop it from happening (like a light setting). Does anybody know how to fix this problem?

Thanks in advance.

Lance.

Has the sun/moon light been set to completely black? You can try setting it to RGB 1,1,1 and see if that makes a difference to the water. Players won't notice the difference in the light.

Hi DannJ,

Thanks for making me look at this side of things .... When I did, I realised I had left the "Has Directional Light"?" setting on (which makes working on the area easier in the toolset). When I went to do what you said, I spotted that, turned it off and all was well! :)

Many Thanks,
Lance.
