You are the head of the Inquisition, you will be gaining power and spreading influence to stop the Fade tears. That is the task you are charged with in-universe. However, I am sure many of you have secret agendas or at least unspoken objectives, things you want to be able to accomplish. So I will ask, setting aside what the devs/writers may or may not do in story, what would YOUR Inquistor want to do with this fledgling organization? How would they run things to accomplish those goals and what obstacles (taking into acount the known lore and the status of the various factions) do you see your Inquisitor having to overcome and how do you think they'd do it?
What are your Inquisitor's Goals?

*Hinder the "agent of chaos"
*Or aid the "agent of chaos," depending on this individual's goals
*Improve relations between mages and templars
*Aid the dwarves
*Aid the elves
*Kill as many demons as possible
*Woo (and charm the chastity armor off of) Cassandra, hopefully
*Look through every nook and cranny for loot
*Discover the fate of my Warden's son, hopefully
*Write some dirty limericks
*Resurrect Wynne
*Brew and sell a powerful ale
*Herd and eat some nugs
*Scare the hell out of some human peasants

Destroy all chantries, kill all templars.

I will decide that as I go along. I like to not create my game characters personalities until I know their origin.
For starters my Elf will be the goody girlscout type so she will likely do all she can to save as many she can from harm and avoid sacrifice.

End all these stupid little wars, mostly. Find out how to fix the Veil and stuff. Then cancel the apocalypse.
How this will happen will depend on the character I'm currently playing and on the options I have. Most likely I'll start off diplomatic and try to convince everyone as peacefully as possible, but will also have pragmatic, the-end-justifies-the-means characters who will force everyone to cooperate.

Beyond that I plan to play as an Honorable Human, a Opportunistic Elf, and a Jackass Dwarf.

Breweries. The Inquisition will be used to spread strong ale and fine drink across the land. Every fort I save will become part of the Inquisition Brewing Company.
If everyone is inebriated, they won't care about those demons. I'd say that's a victory. ![]()
Plus, you'll make a crap load of money. ![]()

Whatever the game tells me I guess, while doing anything I can to reestablish Chantry authority and rebuild the Circles if possible. Pretty much fixing Hawke and Anders' mess. That goes for most of my playthroughs at least - no idea how I'll play a Qunari or Elf.

Halting what appears to be the imminent destruction of Thedas.
Finding a way to manipulate the lyrium supply so as to watch the Templar factions destroy each other.
Stripping the Chantry of all it's power. Or building an alliance with it and the mages. Or completely and utterly destroying it.
Kicking those Andrastian humans as hard as possible in the proverbial 'daddy-bags'.
And the priority of utmost importance: Romancing the rivaini rogue.

My Lady Qunari Inquistior Queen will close the tear at all costs. She will take no sympathy on anyone that stands in her way. She isn't here to settle conflicts, just put them to rest long enough to get the aid that she needs in order to complete her main mission.
My Elven Mage will be the opposite, helping everyone and being overly sympathetic because she's kind and gentle
she'll probably want to fully resolve every conflict, but also kill every Red Templar and Seeker that has disbanded from the Chantry. Dalish or not, she serves the Divine.

Bring peace between the mages and templars, bring down the old system and put another one in place( hopefully)
Learn more about Red Lyrium and kill the Red Templars, Demons, abominations, the venator, dragons if they need to die.
Hep the dwarves, elves, mages, templars., peasants etc.
Kill Flemeth if she's in DAI and i'm allowed to kill her, while finding out what she is and what she wants which is possible.
Save both the keep and the town in crestwood.
Uncover some secrets, mysteries, investigate ruins and other stuff.
Find out what the wardens are doing, and figure out what to do from there.
Find out what happened to the warden and hawke, and more if they're in DAI, find out more about my children in DAI if I chose to have either one.
Takeout the red lyrium suppliers, seal off the area where they get it from.
Take over a lot of unoccupied fortresses or driving out every demon, bandit, cultist, etc in them.
Stop the civil wars and stop a world war from breaking out.
Stop the antagonist's schemes, find out who they are and kill them, seal the tears.
These will vary quite a bit depending on what race, class and character I am and what happens in DAI.

Stop the Veil from completely tearing apart would be my Inquisitor's main goal. Furthermore, he would try to return the status between Templars and mages to the original status quo (pre-Kirkwall), though in a way that would be benificial for the tensions between the two sides while still shielding society from the dangers of magic. Seems a little weird considering he's a mage, though, but that's what he's like.

Fade? Inquisition? What are these things?
Her number one priority is to just get unimaginably wealthy. It's my own personal goal, and is always reflected in characters I play.

- Stop the Veil from breaking apart.
- Settle the Civil War
- Suffer not a maleficar to live.
- Restore the Circle system with revised rules.
Depending on the species:
Elf
- Ensure greater rights for the City Elves in Orlais (Elf Chevaliers?)
- Restore Chantry to glory
Dwarf
- The Deep Roads go basically everywhere, so I should be able to find and reclaim some thaigs in Orlais. Hopefully.
Human
- Restore Orlais to glory
- Restore/Empower Chantry
- Join the Shadows of the Empire (yay~)
Qunari (Tal Veloshi)
- Destroy all the Qunari

My inquisitor's goal is to close the veil tears, I guess. I doubt that's optional. Beyond that, it depends on what information my inquisitor actually has access to.
If I metagame, which I might not be able to resist, I'll also be on a killing rampage to destroy all circle mages, chantry folk, templars that can't think for themselves, followers of the qun, Orlesians, Fereldens, Crows, and Gray Wardens.
