You are the head of the Inquisition, you will be gaining power and spreading influence to stop the Fade tears. That is the task you are charged with in-universe. However, I am sure many of you have secret agendas or at least unspoken objectives, things you want to be able to accomplish. So I will ask, setting aside what the devs/writers may or may not do in story, what would YOUR Inquistor want to do with this fledgling organization? How would they run things to accomplish those goals and what obstacles (taking into acount the known lore and the status of the various factions) do you see your Inquisitor having to overcome and how do you think they'd do it?

 

I'm not certain how I'll handle a Dwarven or Vashoth protagonist at this point, or even an autonomous Circle mage (given how little information we have about the potential backgrounds of these racial options), but I think my Dalish Inquisitor would be focused on helping the Elvhen, given the plight they have faced over the centuries. An elven kwisatz haderach.

No idea, I have no clue about the Inquisitor and I have no clue about the story of Inquisition. 

 

Although when I play games with multiple endings I always want to go for the best ending, so I will be saving everyone.

Personally I'm taking more of a Twyin Lannister view, with the Inquisition standing in for 'family name'. Besides "The Inquisition always pays it's debts." works very well for a Qunari run through.

Throughout the main story of the game my Inquisitor's main goal will be to amass as much power on Thedas as is possible, whilst saving everyone possible, collect numerous tomes of ancient Lore, dangerous Magical Artefacts, defeat the evil plaguing Thedas, then........ dissapear into the background, become anonymous, and secretly rule over governments for the betterment of all peoples of Thedas from the shadows, using the widely assumed disbanded Inquisition as a type of benevolent Illuminati.
