Lots of tv show threads. Thought I'd make one of easily the best show on tv. 

 

True Detective is HBO's crowning achievement and best show since Sopranos. Period. 

 

Thoughts. 

 

Spoilers be here, so I'll start. 

 

Who do you think the yellow king is? 

 

Is Maggie involved in the murders? 

 

What really happened to Cole's daughter? 

 

 

 

 

This is a tremendous show. The acting and atmosphere as well as the dialogue and cinematography are so good. 

 

I hear they're doing a second season. In my opinion, I can't see ANY tv show ever having as good as debut and first season like True Detective has had. If you have HBO or even if you're thinking about it. True Detective is worth the price of admission alone.

Pfft, your inferior questions need no answer. The only question this show begs is how in god's name is Marty pulling all these bitches? 

 

Anyway, seeing as how Cohle lost his **** when that guy brought up the yellow king during the interrogation, I'm theorising her death has something to do with him/her. 

 

Or maybe Cohle's bat **** crazy and the yellow king is another personality of his or something. Schizophrenia does seem pretty plausible imo
