I prefer mics but don't mind if you don't have one. But I've also lost count on how many people's gender's I'm not sure of lol. It's weird switching between "him/her." But Fuenf is right, sometimes a blabbermouth can get tiring. However, no one in this thread is really guilty of that.

 

LOL that statement you made about not knowing the gender is priceless. I feel the same way, good thing Asaris don't have that problem but there are some Asaris with a bizarrely thick voice. Oh well!

 

I remember when we had a conversation related to that I was like i guess i'll stick to using proper nouns because so i won't hurt anyone's feelings

 

 

and yes blabbermouths are exhausting to play with. Sadly ME3 doesn't have the option to individually mute someone.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^Yeah, you have been away for awhile now....^^^ A few details to jag your memory...I am Kaiju Sozay.....one nite you played about 6-7 games with me, oni-changas, pearl  (spectre pierogi), and QMR ..more details...there was a certain brave volus team that was wiped out on wave 8..that needs avenging...also, this might sound familiar..I witnessed a very heroic asari valkyrie getting touchdown slammed by a brute on goddess and her corpse resembled a certain jesus pose...

Come to think of it - I also don't remember you that vividly - care to elaborate further - somehow uncle Ben's with dreadlocks and flipflops got all mixed up in my head (Haha - no need to - we know- So AG is 16 octaves removed from your voice). Also - Is it normal to call a fellow player dude if you know she's not a man?

^^^^^^^^^^^  Yep..for me it is.  I play with a bunch of girls and I always call them dude,,,,just out of habit.. I have 13 cousins and they are all girls....its what we have always called each other

really though I have been called that by girls before.  I raise an eyebrow the first time, but you get used to it pretty quick. It doesn't bother me.

Well the term dude is most probably androgynous in parts of the US, but I don't know if the rest of the world talks like that...tbh

So that's why you've lost me NextArishok -> why would u raise an eyebrow if a girl calls you that?

2) dude have some other meaning in the parts where you live...

In unisex terms in AHF I heard :
The Australians have mate
The English chap/brah
The Russian bratán
IRL friends would go for pal
German is probably Typ

In the meanwhile I don't use any of it - to avoid misunderstandings especially since I don't know exactly where people are located

On top of it hardly being used where I am from....when it is, it's a male to male thing so it catches me off guard for 2 reasons.

 

I really don't care what people call me (as long as I know them)  I get called D and a hole all of the time by the people I play with.  Doesn't bother me and its even true sometimes.

My solution is to assume male until proven otherwise, but calling everyone primitives is the best way not to deal with gender term bullshit. Most of you are primitive bipedal apes, as you don't know half the mechanics of ME3 or the Collector Protocol, until I generously enlighten you with my gifts of wisdom.  I also may blabbermouth the whole game if Oni is with me.
