At least you actually play the damned game.
There are posters who spend their whole day on BSN and never play a wave.
I don't play often though. I spend my time either a. living life or b. playing a variety of games. I get bored if I spam the same game for days on end.
There are plenty of players who play gold in AHF; I myself prefer to play gold in preference to platinum. However, don't be surprised when you do play a gold match with the AHF and it goes really smoothly that someone (like an excited noob) says "That was easy, let's go platinum!".
And lo and behold this came to pass. Even worse is that I explicitly stated I was hosting a gold match, 3 AHF members join and then try to persuade me to bump it to platinum straight away. At least we got in a gold match before I have to bow to peer peasure of 3 to 1 vote to take it to platinum. 
If that's an AHF chat room, then I have been misinformed and I won't be back in.
The old chat room should have now been deleted anyway. The new chat rooms have Alliance Hazard Force in their title so it's more obvious that you are joining one.
It's shame you aren't interested in joining. There's obviously alot of work going into the AHF forum with the intention of creating a friendly environment for PS3 players. As a result we seemed to be getting an influx of relatively new players who want to play for fun and are seeking guidance from the relative pros. We sure could do with some more pros who aren't obsessed by platinum.

A cult would imply we have a leader that we follow with complete devotion. Nope, we squabble too much. I would say we are closer to "The Muppets" in terms of organization.
The relative pro comment is that we have a range of players with different skills, so someone new can learn from someone else who is relatively better. Also, to my surprise played in both silver and gold games last night. I guess we aren't so platinum obsessed after all.
Just thought it was a funny expression.

Drama or not, the original AHF was a good group. Miss the people back then.

Wasn't with the original AHF group but I wouldn't be surprised if it's similar in nature as there are original members in it. Also, I think it's going quite well as there always seems to be at least a couple of people in the chatroom at all times. Best time seems to be Friday and Saturday night though.
I do feel there should be less talk and more action, but maybe I'm missing the point of the chatroom

Wasn't in the original group because lol ecks bawks, but I'm there now because I'm interested in playing when I log onto ps3 and this group seems to be promoting that.
I've always knocked the chat room function on ps3 because when I logged on I seemed to see more people interested in the conversation than the game, which turned me off. Using it as a means to get players together has, so far, worked wonders, and I hope it continues.

I was mainly playing with randoms until now but the verbal abuse I'm getting or the kick icons (Is it because I started using a Vorcha? o_o No one ever did it when I used something else. Most of the time) are getting to me.

There a link here that explains how to get access. Also, crum I think I played with you on dagger platinum yesterday as part a 50% pug team. I must admit I was surprised your vorcha wasn't dropping dead all the time, but being a seasoned player explains that.

Now you mention it, I think I remember you too. Was it a game with 2 Juggs (you being one with a particle rifle), me and something else I can't remember?
If so, I was quite envious of how you were owning everyone with that PR. What level was it again?
Only reason I started using the Vorcha was simply because my Geth trooper, who is my usual flame build, has been redone to be a mini destroyer. But, my playstyle more or less remains the same even with a Vorcha. Just have to be more careful due to the shitty shields and different evade.

Yep. I was the jugg with the particle rifle and it's at level X. It's my favorite weapon for the jugg because combined with armour piecing rounds I think it's the perfect weapon for him. His toughness allows him to survive hits whilst the weapon is charging up to it's full potential and no more slowly wandering off to the ammo boxes.
