XANster speaks quite often during the day and is a ninja by night.

 

Maybe nighttime XAN is actually his sister/gf/mother/other and doesn't speak to not give it away, She could be.. SAN(dy), or something, Xan is hard to make punny names of.

^ That really sounds like total garbage. At least my wireless Turtle Beach XP500 headset mic does more then being a mic (4 speakers), and lasts 2 days with 2 double AA's. Or one day with rechargeable double AA's (which is obviously what I use).

 

 

And all features work for PC, 360, and PS3. Only problem is the plastic holding it together is very cheap. Mine cracked in four places around the support holding the ear piece. Using some cheapo temp fix to hold it all together. So buyer beware.

 

 

PS - hey Nightman, that tinny piece in the pic is the mic bluetooth that connect to bottom of X-Box controller for mic use to work on X-Box and PC via X-Box controller. PS3 don't need it since it has Bluetooth.

People's own fault for buying stuff without even 5 minutes searching. Since it is pretty clear that the more expensive Turtle Beach releases (especially the game/cod labeled ones) are of bad build quality and clearly overpriced, anyone who just clicks buy without searching to see if anybody else has problems with it deserves to have a subpar headset.

 

I spent 2-3 days looking up different PS3 headsets to replace my original cheap one, since I didn't realize how much I would be using it when I got a €17 bluetooth. Now, a year later, I am still impressed by my cheap Turtle Beach PLa, sound quality is great, and not even a scuff on the plastic, could put them back in the box and sell them as new. The ONLY "downside" is the fact that they have HUGE cables connecting to the PS3 and Stereo. I'm not restricted in placement by the cables, but if I sit too close (which I do), I can end up with a jumble in my lap, small price to pay if you ask me.

 

TL;DR never buy on impulse, also, never buy products with game labels/logos on them, they are ALWAYS cheap quality for high prices.

^yep, I'll second that, too. I wrote in length about this earlier; clearly there are differences between the models, especially wired vs wireless. And yes, the supermarket impulse buy of that PoS small bluetooth one was a total fail, it is horrible in the ear and bad sound quality. It also broke on the holder bit in a few days, so started flopping down in a weird fashion (and I, MrsFixIt, put thin wire on it to keep it better in place.) Never again those one-ear bluetooths.

Nightman called upon TheVolusSupport. But it didn't last long. Beer made Nightman sleepy, and I'm got burnt out. My highlight out of these games that Oni was also part of, was the one just before Volus support joined. Where I was playing as the Huntress. Haven't played her in ages, and it worked perfect for the somewhat expended but slow mindset I was in. Was like a mini game inside of a game. Was nice that I also didn't have to worry about weapon weight, good consumables or agro.

 

Next time, Volus. Next time.

Come on, Justin Timberlake got that swagger when MJ gave him the nod and Tiombaland started producing his beats. I used to HATE him and the rest of N'Sync until he cut his mop top off and came out with Rock Your Body. Got me a lot of girls in my dorm days.

I joined in a lobby with the 3 scrubs aka oni, nightman, terminator, in a cerberus game on gold, I stole the last nemesis kill by a combat drone that I casted somewhere from the heavens while the terminator wasn't able to terminate her fast enough to give the finishing blow.

Yes its crap, but this Mic was in a bundle with Uncharted 2. I'm thinking about buying the "Sony Playstation 4 Wireless Stereo Headset 2.0", but I like to hear the game sound over my home cinema system.

It's so great when Atlases shaking the room and Banshees wake up my neighbors!

And the small Sony BT earset,  is one of the best in-ear headsets, due to environment sound reduction.
