Ha, I'll join the Penguin Squad! I personally hate categorization in general, let alone an arbitrary, affected one;  it's best to think outside the box. And since I'm not officially in AHF anyway (I'm a backseat-AHFer),  I'm in with the Squad.

Fuenf, I've not said anything for a while, but since you get that pointed, I ponder, what's your angle? I can honestly say, I don't always understand your motives, just don't make an assumption of anything. Also, that dig of 'making your own choices', dude? 1800s called and wanted your attitude back.

As I already stated, I'm a happy backseat-AHFer (I haven't taken any invites): I read the chat in case husband happens to pop in between games or when looking for someone to play with/fill slot(s). I myself couldn't stay in the room during games, though, as I find that disruptive with notes popping up on my screen. That's my personal preference.

 

And if your dig (sure, I'll bite this once) was for not-me, I can also say that in this household, we both like the nice bunch of dudes there, have regularly played with and had great games with many of them, as I thought you knew anyway.

 

Besides, the whole point of joining the Penguin Squad (and killing all humans) was amusing to me, that's why I wrote about it in the first place.

That categorisation, even if it was serious doesn't make sense at all, since some categories are based on joining date, and others are based on player behaviour. Some people fit into two categories, which just proves that we can't be categorised. Joining date would be a good angle, but what is the point of that?

True, I generally follow that route, too, of not taking things seriously. But there is a fine line between friendly banter and constant attempts of getting a rise out of someone. First one is fun and reciprocal, and the second one just irritating and erratic like a pebble in a shoe, or Justin Bieber.

 

I guess I'm too old for the need for categorizations, as pointed out earlier. However, I actually find it refreshing that there are so many different kinds and levels of players in the AHF  (and mp in general). I'd imagine the older players may find sharing their knowledge with us n00bs worthwhile, or at least get some laughs out of our goofs.   You've all been noobs at one point, even you oldiegoldies there, so you know the rocky road (mmm ice cream) that we have to take to learn and get better. What better way to do it, than try to learn from the experienced ones? (No, I'm not going to call you Masters.)

 

Personally, I don't mind scoring the least, if I do my part, stay alive mostly, do missions, kill my little heart out, and go be the team medic for the more reckless ones - I'll still learn from each game, and couldn't handle those difficuties all on my own. Catch you in some firebase!

 

PS. Fuenf is right, Anyone playing ME3 MP is some sort of a raving mad loonie.

Well, it sort of depends on what kit you bring, what cd's will be available.

How about we put some life into our glorious BSN group? Yummy created an awesome thread, nice effort for reviving it. There is also a "Your last AHF match in one or two words" thread. We could use that topic to discuss our recent matches, because this one is only here to inform PS3 players that AHF exists, and to inform the moderators if new people want to join.

AHF: Yep. Active. Normally people are ingame so they don't respond immediately (either while

B ) they have DS4 controllers and the psn button doesnt allow chats anymore
C) they see you but are in the midst of saving the universe and carrying all dead player (like carrying evn, oni, physiolosopher, fire or xan)

 

Tell a lazy googler how to do this and I'd come back and re-learn how to play (read: how to point a venom at peoples feet while aimlessly chucking arc nades)
