On fixing the ds4 ps button to work on a ps3 - sorry : work as intended © by sony. Forgot who used this line (was it 720/ N7_SPECTRE?). No amount of googling will fix that button. To my knowledge.

For a stretch when I was looking for a solution to my button problem, there was only one set of footprints in the sand. I asked, "why Google? why did you leave me when I needed you most?".... to be continued

Yes we can. Yes  weekend umh nvm.

 

...I have 4 x ds3 controllers that all have infinitely stuck buttons (either permanently scrolling left/right or up/down) (even though the arrow buttons were never really used) . The old problem everyone suffers with. stuck keys always happen midway in game (murphy's law).

 

So if I must absolutely press that PS button on any of those old parallel plugged in DS3... it enters to the chat but then start infinitely auto scrolling upwards to chats from evn, xan, ark from yesteryear. evn's old chat comments is always a gem btw. - and flooding the text buffer in its wake. Means I've to unplug it quickly from the USB slot - wait for the keyboard buffer to clear and can start typing (ca 20s wasted). Ingame that means I'm almost a minute away in phanstasie world.

 

That leaves me with the options

 

1) to spend 60€ on a DS3 just to use one PS button... (where the controller will be useless in 14 months time again) or

2) 60€ on a brand new DS4 controller with noncompatible PS button. Ugh. (but with the advantage that the new DS4 controller does not accidently swap to cobra missiles when pressing the square button - another strange phenomena in me3 on ps3). Let's not go further into the spontaneous explosions phenomena.

Hey, accents make it more fun, variety is great. As I always say, never worry about non-native English - you can always ask the others to try and speak your native language, and see how they do with that instead.

We currently have two BSN queens (current and ex): nmc and owa and
have been able to convince one mod to join our sessions. His name shall remain a mystery to protect his identity.
QMR is notoriously scared to attend and speak her mind and pierogi could use help with her mic.

The developer that gave some insider info on andromeda last week will unfortunately not be able to attend again because he is not with EA anymore.

As most people here knows I'm not a native English speaker either and I have an accent as well. I think Fuen and Arishok can attest to how I always say "whaaaaaaaaat" and "I didn't understand that" and "sorry what" or just me staying silent because I didn't understand what they said in the headset when chatting hahaha
