Every time I browse mods for Skyrim for appearance changes I lose more faith in humanity.
In the next Me game can female NPCs and PCs have real curves

A heptathalete would be a good model given the variety of disciplines they must compete in; and in the future with powered armour you'd expect raw strength to be less important over stamina etc.
Not bad at all.

The plastic smooth skin, the puffed-up "straight out of the hairdressers" hair? Mind you when it comes to Skyrim I find unmodded Dunmer women strangely attractive.

Well yes; she is an example of a proper female all round athlete. I'd expect femshep to be (whist not quite as defined as British Olympic Champion Jessica Ennis) around this sort of body shape if she was an active special forces soldier.

I don't think curves is the word you're looking for. At least, not the curves you're talking about. I don't buy how she looks, even with the previously mentioned mod. Let's leave the buzzwords at the wayside and have a real discussion on how a woman in peak physical condition would look. Shepard is a soldier. Not just a soldier, but a Spec Ops operator. Not just a Spec Ops operator, but a member of the highest level of classification and prowess. Her capability would be off the charts. Coupling that with the genetic therapy applied to all soldiers, she's going to do quite a few more than 3 pull ups. You want to see a woman in peak physical condition when it comes to strength and stamina? I'm going to agree with von_uber.

I don't see anyone complaining when Male Shep has a realistic amount of muscle, considering the kind of things he does. I'd expect no different from a female in the same position.

Can the human women get the same TLC afforded to Quarian women
So, a generic armour model with a photoshopped stock photo taped to the helmet?

Firstly, ME armour isn't power armour. Secondly, if the armour does the heavy lifting then you no longer need endurance (much like it's easier to drive a car 100 miles than to carry a ton of weight 100 miles). Finally, I don't think soldiers ever had to particularly emphasise strength (which is why they practise marching, not lifting weights)

If the women all get curves, I demand the male models get real butts. Seriously, they're all like saggy pancakes.

We're talking about N7 Operators here, not the general rank and file. They're the equivalent to the modern operatives that have a hand in operations we probably don't even want to know about. You can bet that they have conditioning in every facet of fitness.

Please read. A 130 pound guy might carry ninety pounds of gear into combat.

That's hardly a feat of extreme strength when olympic weight lifters can lift 300kg+, which is why I said that real soldiers don't require freakish GoW-esque physique. As you admitted yourself, the challenge is carrying the gear for extended duration (making it a matter of endurance), not once (a matter of strength), viewer-lobotomizingingly obnoxious images notwithstanding.

Sometimes its not always endurance that is needed(though it helps), just the will to do it.

I'd actually settle for a female character that actually runs properly.
This. Having FemShep run around in the pretty dress was tearjerking
