I would have personally used entropy to scare those Ferelden refugees that threaten me to fight me when I am looking for Alistair.
How about you?

As a rogue I would have thrown a dagger right into that idiot Grace's head right before she drops Thrask in act III.
On my mage I would have used Maker's Fist on Quinten until he was turned into a fine paste.
Lastly, during the ending of Sheparding Wolves I would mind control Vernell to gut Petrice like a pig.

If you mean Anders... in case you didn't know it before, you can just have your sibling talk to them to make them go away. Or do it yourself if you're diplomatic.
I... probably have too many instances to count, to be honest.
DA:O: I wish I had the power of facepalm. I would have used it on Cailan, Uldred and Howe.
DA2: I would have spammed blood control on... pretty much everyone, well maybe not on Varric.

Oh yes I am aware of the possibility but I just thought this could be fun =)
I would have liked a few moments of "Blaze of glory" or "rush to freedom" in the Origin stories, similar to Qistina's joining Mind Blast.
Even if they would result in a failure and a reload it would be nice to have the option to stand your ground against the Howe soldiers or make a run for it when Irwing, Gregoir and Duncan negotiate your fate in the tower.
I would've used my persuasive skills to convince the Arishok to take someone else(Merrill) instead of Isabela.
Convince Cullen not to take Bethany to the circle leaving her as a companion for the whole game.
I would destroy the mirror that Merril has
Convince Alistair to have Anora beheaded at the landsmeet if you make him king
Lastly, during the ending of Sheparding Wolves I would mind control Vernell to gut Petrice like a pig.
Varnell was a Templar, I doubt it'd have been easy to mind control him.
I personally would have liked the ability to b!tch slap Merril, Meredith and Petrice (for rogue and warrior only) at several instances.

We're talking about the PC here. Slayer of High Dragons and Merediths, a bad motherf**** by all counts. She/he can do it.
Let's see...
-Burn Kirkwall to the ground (making sure Cullen survives of course)
-Healing people who would otherwise would die (THIS IS THE BIG ONE FOR ME)
-As a Templar specialized warrior, being able to dispel enchantments or compulsions placed on people
-Templar able to sense magical items or ambient magic within an area
I would have liked to use my rogue step/Kasumi Goto skills to appear behind jerks and hold a knife to their ribs. I'm sure the cinematic designers would have had a time putting that together.
For my rogue, it basically involves tossing the murder knife at a few people. Varnell would've gotten it between the eyes and Petrice would go next. Grace would have gotten it too the moment she went on about killing the hostage. The murder knife would've been tossed so many times the cumulative distance it travels would cover all of Kirkwall.
I can't really think of any off the top of my head for my dual-wield warrior in DA:O, because I pretty much got the opportunity to properly kill everyone I thought deserved it.
Having your skills/traits impact dialogue, ala Fallout, wouldn't be a bad thing. Putting points into cunning should grant you the possibility to use your wily, wily ways to get people to open up to you.
They really should consider FO-type perks, now that I'm thinking about it. Along the same line as Horror, Terrifying Presence could be hella fun. But then, I'd just end up getting Animal Friend, picking flowers, petting trees, and hugging animals.
Yeeeeessssssss. I love having high speech in the Fallout games. It's so much more entertaining to talk enemies out of stuff than having to fight them again and again. I wouldn't mind if speech was a more important skill in the DA games. At least in DA2 there were a couple places where you could get magical effect in conversation. That made me happy. In DAI, I hope they take it to the next step.
I usually play at least one Blood Mage, so blood magic would be awesome to see in certain conversations. Most notably any place where you talk to some low level guard or villager who is reluctant to share info. It would be awesome to mind control them into telling what they know. Sure, there are places where the satisfaction of being surprised would be lessened, like the mysterious village in DAO, but that surprise could be replaced with a thrill at turning the table on the freak mage that was inside that village's chantry.
Dragon Age Origins: always bugged me as my main is a shapeshifter mage, but in the quest 'Captured!' I would have liked the ability for my shapeshifter to change into or a cat, rat etc and simply walk out of Fort Drakon...
Liked having high speech or intelligence in Fallout (having that bit extra to customise) getting that big of extra info out of people, it was also funny taking away most of the characters intelligence points and getting the 'unique' conversation choices like "Ooooh shiny robot!" or going "CHOP CHOP CHOP!" when helping Argyll to give medical treatment in New Vegas.
It would also be pretty good to have something like the Perks option, again adds anther level to customise, like the Confirmed Bachelor perk so the Courier could get extra info from other male characters by flirting, having a Terrifying Presence and being able to scare people (that would go well 7-8ft Qunari with big horns on his head!)
Throw a fireball at Cauthrien every time she speaks out of turn when you apparently "speak out of turn". Cause you know, being a Head Warden isn't as high ranking as Cauthrien and she has the authority to give Grey Wardens smack talk.
Pretty much that, other times I would like the face palm ability.
I would love the chance to use fist of the maker on someone in dialogue. Outside of that would be warcry and defiantly backstab.
In DAO I liked how occasionally having a high cunning could be of use. Like when dealing with fake-Waylon. As for talents in conversations, it would have been nice to use below the belt on Howe.
I forgot...Carol....there's a lot of things i could do to him with magic..but he's a Templar...so just simply push him into the lake, that should suffice
I would have loved it if it were possible to push Carroll into the lake.
Varnell was a Templar, I doubt it'd have been easy to mind control him.

Given the mindless devotion some of them have to the Order and the Chantry, particularly Varnell, I suspect he might be awfully easy to mind control. If Petrice could convince him that kidnapping a diplomatic group of Qunari was a good idea Hawke should be able to snap him out of it!
Something to do with Petrice, a Flaggon of Ale, Three Chickens, Five Potatoes, a Nug and Lots of Fire.
That's the flagon with the dragon, right, not the vessel with the pestle?
