I saw a lot of people arguing that the male qunari in DA2 were sexed up,

But it's true. Those people are right. I just can't agree with anyone refusing to aknowledge that fact, no matter how fair could be what he's asking. I don't like at all double standard. Seriously, in the lore it is said that the Qunari wear heavy armors but now they are always shirtless since DAII. And not because of the sinking of their boats. Even in MOTA, they are shirtless .

And we didn't see the face of the female qunari yet, except from concept arts.

I'm hoping they're a massive burly amazon looking woman. Something tells me they'll be very muscular but super attractive though minus huge horns protruding from their heads. I feel they'll probably be very overly sexualized with muscular features that are considered attractive in our society. I mean, I can understand people don't want to look at an ugly race all game but at least give us the choice. I personally want to make the ugliest Qunari possible!!! Ugly by our society standards at least.

From a nature perspective though, I guess it makes sense that the woman races would be very beautiful in attracting the male mates for procreation. I'd imagine Thedas is no different from our world in that regard. Solution to the problem: Allow us to make ugly or beautiful Qunari.

To be fair though, I fully expect all the female races to be overly sexualized. It's just how games are. It probably won't bother me much because I'm use to it. I prefer a more believable character when I make them...one that society considers to have many flaws physically.

They're shirtless since the redesign, yes. I don't know why the devs went that way. But my point was that they don't have attractive faces. And while we haven't seen an in-game female qunari, the ones we've seen in the comic and in concept art have pretty human-like faces. What I was trying to say is that I hope the ones in game have odd facial structures in the way the men have. I don't have a problem with attractiveness in games, as long as it isn't ridiculous or unfair.

Salit the ex-ben-hassrath? The ones in charge of hunting down and either converting or eliminating those who leave the qun? He has no reason to be in shape at all?

As for the sarabasses, that I will give you. At that point I would point to DA2's rushed and under pressure development team and how costly it is to make different body models. Since the majority of the qunari were going to be normal warrior, they ended up using the same body model for all of them. It's also the same reason every background qunari looks like they are all twins, given that they are basically copy and pasted to make a crowd. At that point however all bets are off and we might as well throw up our hands into the air and say "screw it, 42 is the answer all along".

As for your bit of hyperbole there at the end, It's uncalled for and downright dirty to use hyperbole to try and prove your point. My assumptions and speculations were based on circumstantial evidence anyone else could look and and infer the same logical conclusion from. You are free to draw a different conclusion from my findings and evidence, that's fine. Disagreement is fine and all, but to declare all the points invalid simply because you don't like the answer given is just childish, as is refusing to admit when you might have been mistaken in your dismissal.

You are not showing evidence to back up why I am wrong, and just shouting I'm wrong for the simple fact that I must be wrong for disagreeing with you. It's stupid.

I am supporting why you're wrong. You're being critical of me not being able to disprove your assumption yet somehow you're justified in making a conclusion based on nothing, only because it can't be disproved. You're free to speculate but to pass speculation as fact based on nothing is just ridiculous. That's is my point, yet somehow you can't seem to understand that

I'd love for the Qunari in Inquisition to be decorated like this.

Based on nothing? You gotta be kidding me right?

You know if you're going to be this way, I don't see any point in talking to you. Being intentionally uncivil and uncooperative does not make for a very fun atmosphere for discussion.

I would too. The fact that we don't have to get rid of old gear when we level could make it all the more better since we could keep the same look if we want too.

How about we drop the entire debate and enjoy life?

They are shirtless, and above all, sexed up.  :D

Fair enough. On that we can agree. ^^

This is an example of what i dont think is ridiculous of only for sex appeal, this is realistic considering they live on a tropical island, so the strapped top piece id actually like to see on female qunari, its definitely culturally believable being in such a hot place

No. Just no. She looks like she's from a bad 90's comic book, pointless shoulder pads and all.

Also those two scarfs she decided would make a good shirt better be straight jacket tight to keep her delicious globes from slipping out when she makes even the slightest movement with her abdomen, be it during, looking up, or bending down for something.

I lived on what was as close to a tropical island as most people get, Hawaii, for 18 years, and while it might be from my own experience, nobody would dress like that, even to the beach, even to try and look like a ****. Sleeveless and shoulderless tops or just a bikini top was as close as you got to that.

Can't really argue that it doesn't make her look ****** sexy as hell though.

You're comparing Hawaiian culture to qunari culture which doesnt work. The same way certain African chiefdom's have woman who wear similar clothing, its cultural and therefore doesnt have to be fictional. Now are you going to openly disagree with me over and over or can we all have a decent conversation?

I'm afraid I have to disagree here. In terms of 'realism' (within a fantasy genre) her breasts would need to be more thoroughly restrained if she were to do any sort of strenuous physical activity.

Sheesh, I was just saying how saying "It makes sense cause they're from a tropical island" seemed a bit...how should I say misinformed. And you're right, qunari culture and hawaiian culture aren't the same and shouldn't be compared I suppose. I was just using my own experience from what many describe as a "tropical island" environment to critique the outfit.

I will not back down on how stupid the shoulder pads and the scarf bra are though, because I do genuinely feel that is a dumb fashion choice for everything except a red carpet event, which already dictates fashion be impractical and a little stupid.

Considering she's a priestess, i doubt physical activity is a factor

Yeah. I would like to see something more like binding if we are going that route.

Pretty much. I don't see how some form of wrap across the chest wouldn't work out to give the girls a bit more support.
