I just got off the phone with an EA Store rep regarding my ME2 CE pre-order. I had two questions that I asked him:

1. When do we get the code for the Inferno Armor?
Answer: We should recieve it in email 2-4 days before release.

2. If I picked the fastest shipping option (My total is $92.92 for the faster shipping) how soon will we get the game?
Answer: They will do rush delivery so you should recieve it that Saturday (Saturday as in the 30th of January Saturday)

Okay now that sucks. Either this guy didn't know what he was talking about or we are just going to get screwed if you ordered from EA Store. The whole idea behind paying an extra $16 for shipping is to get it the earliest, possibly on launch day but it looks like that won't happen. As for the activation code, I was assuming I should have had something in the mail by now but I shall see. If I don't have anything by next Tuesday, then I'll be really upset.

Amazon does Launch Day shipping, and the total cost (for the CE) was $79.99. Granted I have no idea how reliable Amazon actually is, even if you got standard shipping it would appear to be cheaper and arrive around the same time as EA apparently plans to deliver...

EDIT: Actually, I checked my order, and it's only $75 for Release-Day shipping for the CE.

Where are you getting it shipped to? With the 'free shipping' they were offering when I preordered mine, they were saying 2-4 days, and that's with almost the slowest shipping possible that they had available.

I ordered by CE from EA store as well. I'll let you know if a code shows up for me. I didn't do the fast shipping because i'll be picking up a regular edition from gamestop at 12:01 Tuesday morning.

Mine says it's being processed but I can't even log in to see anymore. It says my password is invalid and, when I reset it, it STILL will not work.



Anyone have this issue with the EA Store?

I just pre-ordered my ME2 CE (PC) from GameStop's website, 65 USD. Of course I used their free value shipping since their main distribution plant is about an hour away from me.

I am in North Carolina so that is where it is going to be shipped. I seriously believe and HOPE that this guy didn't know what he was talking about, maybe he mis-understood me and thought I said standard delievery which is 2-4 days. Because if standard 2-4 days, getting it that Saturday at the latest sounds about right. But if I'm duing the fastest one which I believe is 1-2 days, I should get it no LATER than Wednesday.

I live in Southern California, so I tend to pre-order from a store. I was lucky enough to get a one of the last excepted Collector's Edition for PC at my local Gamestop. The store is about 15 min from my house, and I will get a phone call when they have it. So here is to not paying shipping, and getting the game on launch day!

he probably didn't know what he's talking about.   If shipping is anything like how it was with dragon age, standard shipping is 2 day air from UPS and express shipping is next day air.  both don't deliver on Saturday.  i have dealt with eastore before, and their customer service wasn't very helpful.  but i ended up getting my game quickly.

But yeah, i'm getting mine from Amazon. There aren't many Gamestops in my area, despite it being among the most populated metro areas in the country; end result is the one near my house always gets SWARMED at huge releases like this.

with the most expensive shipping, i actually got it the day BEFORE launch. my order for dragon age shipped out friday (10/30/09) and i received it on Monday (11/02/10), 1 day before it launched.

it all really just depends on when eastore ships the game out. if they ship it out tomorrow, then you might get it early.

I ordered the CE from Game Stop, cost ten bucks for overnight shipping and total came out to 75 bucks. I'm supposed to get it tomorrow, why they would charge you 95...and getting code late as well as the game. I do not know
