But the one who is on it looks like idiot
So you're telling me that Thranduil...The king of Mirkwood (and Sass)...Looks like an IDIOT?Sir,this is preposterous!

Its mutch more cool if it looks like this
Cooler... yes.
Of course... you're gonna get halla-slapped every time it turns it's head. ![]()

You see
he has one of his legs shorter than the other ![]()
but those huge horns behind him are epic (bounce, bounce) ![]()

you need safety helmet, just like my mage avatar ![]()
but it could be fun
halla turns its head really quickly and you will fall from it
Varric: what was that?
inq:halla turned its head again
Varric:no i mean that thing in those bushes
inq: probably just a rabbit
Griffons. Would be nice to find out that contrary to popular belief that Griffons are not extinct. Also would like to ride a bear, actually nearly anything that has 4 legs. Lastly a Qunari, I'm serious about riding a Qunari but as a Dwarf.
Are Halla's even that huge?- Lorien19 pic 6:00am. I seem to recall them being small, would be nice if they were though.
Halla slaps for all the nonbelievers
I want my dwarf Inquisitor to mount a Mabari.

I hope they make them larger in DAI,the ridable ones at least(If they exist)...Can't really picture a small doe like creature carrying my inquisitor around.
Now that you mention it,I wonder if the halla's we encountered are indeed supposed to be that small lore-wise,I imagine pulling an aravel won't be an easy task, if that's the case.
I personally hope mounts aren't race specific (horse = human, halla = elf, etc). The amount of runecloth and gold I spent in World of Warcraft to get my Night Elf high enough approval w/ the dwarves to ride a ram.../shudder

Agreed!
I want my inquisitor to be able to ride a Halla if they are presented as Mounts in the game.
Even if they are say a...Human
I don't have anything for Qunari to ride anyway.Agreed!

How about a bronto? They seem sturdy enough to be able to withstand the weight of a Qunari.

You are seriously underrating the noble steed!

Many draft horses were originally bred to be warhorses carrying hundreds of pounds of knight, saddle, armor, barding and weaponry into battle at a full trot.Shire Draft Horses, for example, are draft horses whose ancestors were used in jousting tournaments and battle by English knights in the 15th and 16th centuries. They stand about 16-17 hands (64-68 inches) high (at the shoulder), and weigh up to 2200 pounds. That said i already have my own mount!
I'm not underestimating them, I just didn't think about them. ^^'
But yes, a warhorse would be great. ![]()

It's nothing compared to Fluffy!

Fast travel.
I don't see why there wouldn't be fast travel. DA2 was smaller than a snowball's chance in desert daytime but even it had fast travel.

Race specific mounts are a dumb idea. A mount is a mount, you get one based on availability and suitability for terrain and load. People ride ponies, horses, camels, donkeys, elephants on this world, we don't look at your passport and say "Sorry, you can't ride this because you're American.".
spiders Yessssssss
I want alistair as a mount
allllll night loong
