I need a music sound changer (don't know how to describe)

Hey, I have an app on Nexus 7 that changes the bass in three different ways, making some music sound better. I don't want a music editing program, just a tool so I can freely change the bass of a song, but because I smashed the screen I can't use.

 

Say for example windows media player, I can change the bass on that on any time to suit my needs and I was happy with that, but for some reason the music now sounds different with both SRS WOW on and off, I don't know why, maybe my headphones have messed up but music sounds better on my iPhone when I use Youtube but the music on my laptop sounds like it is "echoing" through headphones.

Sorry, but I have literally no experience with apps or whatsoever and thus am not familiar with what equalizers are on the market and how good individual programs are.

 

A google search would be more helpful than asking me.

I really like to get rid of noises in my old music.

Also lowering down the sharpness of Brass is some symphonies and and to lower Bass in modern music. So I can change the music tracks and save them as MP3 .

 

Suggestions?
