Who's with me on this?  Let's take a good look at some of the concept art, pick it apart, and see if we can figure anything out through it.

I already pointed out that there is concept art of a rider on a mountain overlooking a keep.  The mount doesn't look like a horse.  It has horns or antlers, and a short tail.  My guess was that it's actually a halla.

Anyone else notice anything interesting in a concept artwork?

How about the screenshots?

We might figure out a few spoilers if we try hard enough.

The concept art clearly visible as the background of these forums confirms we get a crow!

I think one of the devs (maybe Gaider himself, I'm not sure though) has said that we won't get a pet crow, sadly.

Some of the more recent Concept Art is very enticing, if it paints an accurate picture of the game to come that is.

This image, I believe, represents some very exciting possibilities for the game:

Your presumption that the mount could somewhat confirm the presence of Halla may not be wrong.

From an anatomical standpoint they don't appear to be very unlike each other. Take the, well, ass for example. Both image show a clear rise in the backbone towards the rear that deer, and most similar species, hold in common.

WIth the constant dragon symbolism, even considering this is DRAGON age, i think they will or at least old gods will play a significant role in the upcoming game. As i mentioned in another thread, Im hoping it leads to a dragon mount. By mount i do not mean any flying combat or flying mechanics, just a companion that can fly me to different locations and that will interact with me and companions, particularly Cassandra given her family's fame in Dragon hunting. Maybe adding an ability that calls it down in combat to deal some quick damage

Dragon mounting FTW!!

That image does seem to suggest some kind of dragon taming anyway. Maybe you can get one as a baby or something and it grows. Oh wait that's GoT.

Wellllllll no clue.

No it doesn't, but you already know this.

I think one of the devs (maybe Gaider himself, I'm not sure though) has said that we won't get a pet crow, sadly.

He did say that yes and Matt Rhodes also said this recently.

Yeah, David was correct, sorry. From a concept art angle the Raven served more as visual punctuation than in-game element. BUT...he had enough fans both externally and internally that maybe someday we'll find a place for him

Master of all she surveys.
Femquisitor: “Yeah, that’s right. I own all of you.”
EDIT: And she’s wearing a hood, not a hat.
EDIT2: And, no, the bird is not actually part of the game. #dreamkiller
