On gold, I never like doing devices on Cerberus wave 6 cause of the P&D rush, on plat, I would say any wave 10 devices on any faction.

On gold, I feel cerberus w6 and w10 are terrible. Reapers are usually easy except for w10 on certain maps & locations. I almost always ragequit devices vs geth (on the extremely rare occasions I fight them willingly). I like collectors a lot, so I try not to rage-quit but sometimes, I can't help it on w6 and w10.

 

Platinum: Cerberus w6, Collectors w3, Reapers w6 are the only waves I try to disable a device. I ragequit as soon as the objective banner appears on almost every other wave...

I ain't even mad, I just quit. There are far more annoying aspects of this game imo.

I've had my share of Jade/Cerberus wave 6 devices... Those are terrible.

I always moan and groan whenever I get devices on Jade. Cause in the back of my mind I'm always thinking when are the devices gonna hit the middle walkway. When they hit that area, it's insta-rage quit for me.

Wave 6 Cerberus Gold isn't THAT bad, you just have to take into account that it's gonna eat a lot of time. If I'm not time hunting, I first eliminate all the Goons from the budget (sometimes I can disable one device before they get to me), then proceed with the rest.

U mean U just lost 15-30 min soloing and choose to quit to avoid loosing 4 more min, which, once in while, wld have brought you an intense satisfaction ?

^ I try to disable the first one usually! but if any of the devices on platinum force me to kite or use my remaining nukes (I save only 1 or 2 for w10), I quit because enemies tend to respawn right on top of the device more often than not.

That said, over the last few days, I have rage quit about 3 solos as soon as I saw devices pop up....

Also, devices never give me satisfaction.

Whichever waves have phantoms & dragoons. 

 

During the "Former Glory" challenge, the devices at the top of the ladder (one by the ammo box, then one tucked into the hallway, but both right there) ruined the entire attempt, and that was wave 6 Cerberus on Gold. That one sticks out the most cuz it's fresh, but there are tons of other ones.

First attempt at a PPR ACA w/ GS Thunderdome plat solo. Enters wave 10 with 1 rocket, 4 ops packs, 6 gels and 5 thermal clips. Thinks aww yiss gimme gud objective so I can get mah first 10WS pls! Gets devices.. Gives up at 1:38 on the third devices, because a ****** Combat Drone kept staggering me, when almost done.. time was 42:31! FML **** DEVICES **** COMBAT DRONES ****** BS

I'd say w10 thunderdome for me atm... The 10WS, I could already feel it!
