Hi All,
While sorting out another problem, I noticed that there was a "North Direction" value setting for an area in the toolset (second property down).
I experimented a little with this, and managed to find a few other settings:-
1) 0, 1 = NORTH FACES NORTH (DEFAULT SETTING)
2) 0,-1 = NORTH FACES SOUTH.
3) 1, 0 = NORTH FACES EAST.
4) -1, 0 = NORTH FACES WEST.
5) 0.7071068, 0.7071068 = NORTH FACES NORTH EAST.
6) -0.7071068, 0.7071068 = NORTH FACES NORTH WEST.
7) 0.7071068, -0.7071068 = NORTH FACES SOUTH EAST.
8) -0.7071068, -0.7071068 = NORTH FACES SOUTH WEST.
I did not know about this (in all my years of looking at the toolset) and would have found this useful in the past, so I thought I would post my findings.

Yes, I had to do this to city areas in Crimmor to get them into the proper orientation with respect to each other.

Hi Kamal,
I must admit, if I had known about this earlier, I would not have had to change some of my texts to make reference to different compass points having realised my north had not been north by the time I entered the game. Doh! I could have simply changed it using this option.
