I know it's not a guarantee by any means, but at least it's a possibility, eh?

I'd buy it.

I'd consider buying it if they put it out on PC. The graphics for PC weren't much if any better than for the consoles, and ME1's graphics are sorely outdated now. Maybe an update to bring all the games into the Frostbite engine?
I'd DEFINITELY buy it if they also decided that they should do something better with the ME3 ending. Just saying.

Seen the IGN Video Etc so hope this happens.
Been a Mass Effect Fan since day one got all the Collector's Editions got them for all platforms Xbox 360, PS4 & PC. I'm so much a fan I want & will pay again to have this on the Next Generation systems.
I truly believe games like these are not just games but also are art & a living book you take part in & so deserve to be passed on to gamers who hadn't had the opportunity to play it but also future gamers like my nephews & goddaughter who have seen me play this game but sadly are to young to get it's scope or how detailed universe is. So yes Bioware please make this happen Mass Effect is awesome your awesome so make it happen guys.

I would buy it on ps4 only if it includes ALL the dlc. Otherwise I see no point. Also if those games are actually more than just slight modifications to work on ps4.

It sounds like it's happening. I asked that to Aaryn back in early December and he just decided to find my tweet and respond to it yesterday? He had to actively search for that one ![]()
Very old tweet then out of nowhere "Yea man, I mean who knows, maybe

Oh Shinobi, what would the gaming press do without you.
They probably talked about a "Next-Gen Edition" of the trilogy recently, but I wouldn't expect anything before 2016. It would be a lot of work and most likely outsourced to a contractor like Bluepoint Games. A "10th Anniversary Edition" is much more likely than a 1080p-release in the near future.

With this generation's power, maybe they can add some more stuff other than just better particle effects, huh? LOL.
I would buy the hell out of this.

I think it's happening people! So happy!
But please Bioware, don't release it without all the DLC!!!!

I do play games from Naughty Dog and Kojima Productions though, so I know terrific animations when I see them. But yeah.
Anyway, I would pick this up on PS4 in a heartbeat, but only if it has all the DLC. Poured so much cash in already for 360.

good point about how the former games will look janky if they weren't redone from the ground up. This needs to be true of the graphics AND gameplay. The re-done Fable (Anniversary) really showed how even the gameplay hasn't aged well. If they are going to do this, then do it RIGHT!

Funny you should mention Fable Anniversary. I was really looking forward to that game since I did not own the original Xbox and I never had a chance to properly play the first Fable. I was horrified when I realised just how little effort was put into Fable Anniversary, it does play well at all, you feel the original game's age. The ME trilogy is going to need more than a facelift if it is going to impress on next gen. I cut ME1, ME2 and ME3 a lot of slack because I know Bioware were working on consoles that had very obvious technical limitations, I will not be so forgiving on half asses ports done on for PS4 and Xbox One.

You can ask me for a source on that and I'll of course not have one but that's just not the nature of this beast.

Only even going to bother paying attention to it if every DLC is in - including the various Packs in ME2-3. And hopefully including everything preorder/collector's wise.
If not, whatever. I play on PC now, so I'd be waiting to get a PS4.

This isn't going to feature especially revamped gameplay and it isn't going to alter the story either. This won't be a remake but a facelift.

Yep anyone expecting anything else will be disappointed.

^This, I would be more than happy to buy the trilogy for the next gen consoles as long as it has all the DLC.

As I said in the larger thread....give me a reunion scene and you have my $$$ Bioware
Not going to happen, as JeffZero said it will just be an HD update anything regarding story or gameplay (apart from a few tweaks) won't change.
