I wouldn't buy it. It adds almost nothing and I've lost interest as it is now in the trilogy.

1. 1080p/60fps. This would include a final polish. I would also love the sound effects incorporated in ME3 (they had DICE helping with that) to be put into ME 1 and ME 2.
2. The combat in ME 1 to be tweaked and ME 2 combat to be fine tuned. The closer combat is to ME 3, the better.
3. ME 1 inventory problems to be fixed.
4. All DLC included, including the Extended Cut. Also, make the Levithon DLC matter in ME3.
5. A seperate disc that contains the soundtracks for all 3 games and commentary/interviews/behind the scenes look at the making of the trilogy. Throw in some teaser info for the next Mass Effect
6. Steel Case, a litogram of all your companions throughout the trilogy, and a condense "Art of Mass Effect" booklet.

I'll definitely pick it up, assuming it comes loaded with all the DLC (no reason why it shouldn't). It's bound to happen.

These collections never have anything more than upscaled visuals (with maybe so bonus effects) and some non-game bonuses on disc. They're not gonna touch stuff like ME1 combat or any gameplay mechanics. People are just getting their hopes up

Definitly, Bioware can do something like Metro Redux on PS4, better graphics, some tweaks and some fixes.
I will buy it if they can make something like that.

Look at Metro redux, it's way more than just graphics.

That's like 1 example in a sea of cheap upscales. God of War collections, Final Fantasy X/X-2 collection, even Tomb Raider "Definitive" Edition are just glorified upscales.

I think the other thing is with a lot of those examples (save maybe Final Fantasy) is there really wasn't the requests and expectations that are being done for Mass Effect, for I can't see them going back and rebuilding the combat engine or trying to get the game to work in a game style it wasn't designed for.

Hell yes I'd buy it. I traded in my 360 to purchase an xbox one. I'd really like to play the trilogy at least once more before ME4 comes out.

That trilogy will still have the same bugs, the same textures, and the same pricey DLCs if they come out on Xbox LIVE and PS Store for the same price. That Trilogy will basically be an imported version of the previous consoles.

I'd absolutely pick it up as long as they remastered it all. Graphics, resolution, framerate and bugs/glitches.
I would hold out hope that they'd atleast add some of the cut dialogue from ME3 (Ashley's questions about the afterlife, and all the Priority Earth dialogue).

I know that this is bringing back a thread from "the dead," but since this already has 10 pages of history and there was already a second thread created on the same subject I didn't want to create yet another one.
I held on to my Xbox 360 for as long as I could before I let go of it. The games that I played the most on it, which were the ones that I kept me from from letting it go from the outset, were ME 1-3 and the DA series.
I would definitely purchase a remastered ME 1-3 for the Xbox One if BioWare were to produce one! With that said, someone has already listed the things that I would like to see in the remastered edition....
I want to refine my dream Mass Effect Trllogy for the Xbox One/PS4:
1. 1080p/60fps. This would include a final polish. I would also love the sound effects incorporated in ME3 (they had DICE helping with that) to be put into ME 1 and ME 2.

It would also be nice if a few extras were put in for the new system - new gear, weapons, maybe some looks, and (wishful thinking) a couple of missions for each volume.
If they do bring this out, I hope that it is not TOO close to the next Mass Effect iteration....we'd need to have some time to play it after all.

The trilogy is one of the major reasons I have held on to my 360 even after buying an xbox one. As nice as the graphics and presentation bump would be with a remaster the real thing that would make me excited about it is that I would not have the hassle of hooking up my 360 every time I want to play. Can fully transition over to the xbox one.

The only reason I continue to purchase AA batteries is for the X360 controller. I moved on to the PS4, I would have sold the 360 a long time ago but for the ME trilogy. The sooner its out the sooner I can dive back into it and get rid of the outdated crap clogging up that little corner of my games room! >_>

If they port a remastered version of the trilogy to next gen systems, then they better provide us with something more than just slightly better textures. I mean they're gonna have to sell me on something really awesome if they want me to abandon my PC version that has the MEHEM and Citadel Epilogue mods installed.
Plus I feel like there's no real good evidence to suggest that they are working on a remastered trilogy. They already have their hands full.

I would buy regardless and finally throw my 360 away. Besides the bugs with Halo Masterchief collection it is a great idea to have it all integrated.

Can the xbone do 1080p at 60fps? I thought it struggled with it.
60fps makes no diference to my eyes only the 1080p? Why is everyone always bringing it up, can anyone explain?

1080p at 60fps is generally considered to be the best blend between beauty and performance that you'll get. You can get a game to run beyond 60fps but many games' physics engines aren't built for that kind of thing and can get super buggy (Skyrim for example, where running at 120fps causes items to fly around everywhere). 1080p is the standard HD resolution. There's higher resolutions than that, but for the most part, anything greater than 1080p is considered superfluous, since most monitor or TV setups aren't designed for a resolution any greater than that.

Still doesn't tell me what the fps changes other than sressing the game engine when too high. I've seen a 40fps game and 60fps playing side by side and if there was a difference it was so minute it wasn't visible.

Here, check this out: 30vs60.com
People see differences in framerate to varying degrees but on average, most can discern 60fps from 30fps. Of course, the main argument for 60fps in games isn't so much for visual appeal as it is for less input lag. More frames means less time between your mouse moving and the camera moving, every millisecond counts. If you game on a console, you might not notice it as much because gamepads aren't as sensitive as mice, but there is a difference.
