Did anyone else catch this in the latest Normandy video? The assault rifle upgrades apply to "assault rifles, battle rifles, and machine guns." An interesting, and very contemporary, decision. ME2 is feeling more and more like Borderlands in the combat department. Which isn't such a bad thing.

Borderlands was like a sluggish Modern Warfare, so I'm gonna disagree.
A faster paced and smoother Gears of War is what this is looking out to be.

There's also a new heavy weapon shown in the video. It appears to be a directed energy weapon based on the upgrade description.
