I don't really get why if you solo on a multiplayer game, you instantly get UBER PR0 $K1LLZ

 

I only attempted to solo a bronze and I fail miserably on wave 1.

It's a challenge thing!! I only went for the solo's to see if I could do it, to see if my abilities were up to dealing with playing alone. They are really not my thing. I've done 2 on xbox and one was completely unintentional!!! Started a match with 2 other players and when the match loaded, I was alone. It was set to public and I was hoping others would join but I got extraction alone and only got someone else in the lobby when I loaded back in after the match

...if you really like the challenge of playing alone to do what normally takes 4 people. On Gold, I enjoy this to a degree; certain maps, characters & weapons are quite challenging to the point where it's too much of a grind. 

 

On Platinum, it's a grind regardless, which is why I haven't done a platinum solo. That and I'm a scrub.

I enjoy it and I get bored sometimes with team games.  It is a nice way to balance out my enjoyment of the game this far into its lifecycle.

@clyde: I agree about the grind part. Plat solos are always a grind. That's why I choose maps, weapons and enemy I like when soloing platinum to make it more fun.

Believe it or not, but when you get used to soloing it's really going to help you play a lot better with a full team.
