Jamesbrown had started this on the old discussion group. Since then, there have been a bunch of new challenges, so I though I'd bring it back. Which single one wins the vote for you as most difficult challenge and why?

 

Is it cause of the pew pew of phantoms? did you attempt 250 times? loldevices? Lolpredator? 10 waves shmurvived?

 

For me, it's still week two, shepard' s clone' s war. I tried way too many times on that one. To be fair, that was when I was even scrubber than now. 183 pullups took a few attempts but wasn't as hard, I don't think.

5 waves to survive against Cerberus, only Mattock and Mantis. Tried this at least 40 times. And it´s Hydra

Hmm, I could say more if I tried all of them.

 

Out of those that I attempted:

 

Week 2 is not "that" hard, it's just frustrating that you can't see anything outside and also because of Phantom on-host DR.

 

I think the N7 Shadow challenge was one of the harder ones.

 

Also there are some challenges which are not particularly hard setup-wise, but the medal requirements make them frustrating/annoying. "Final Stand" comes to my mind (I think that's what it's called anyway. BW/HI/London/Geth). One small mistake on wave 10 and you're done.

Getting 10 WS on Kill them. Even at 20 FPS, it was an absolute pain.

Yeah, a wave 10 death would/will be aweful.  I should probably say week 13, the Omega challenge actually, since I got stuck on that one and still haven't been able to crack it. :/ I'm technically not deserving of my officer status lol yet.

While not the toughest, Garrus' calibrations part 1 insanity made me rage a LOT!!

Getting 10 WS on Kill them. Even at 20 FPS, it was an absolute pain.

20 fps only? Now I know, why I always have to host, when playing with you. And that explains, why you die so many times in our duos 60 fps ftw!

At least you're a fast solo scrub. That has to count something

Got to admit, since the compact, I play my solos at 30 fps, too. So relaxful. But it gives me a headache over time.

Tbh though, 60 FPS is so much easier to play at despite the AI being tougher. I like the game more now than a couple of months ago.

Also Heart of hydra gets my vote for the toughest challenge.

Reapers/London with the Human Adept is the most difficult I've tried so far.
Heart of the Hydra and Blasteroid sound much more difficult though.

 

Mordus hardcore actually took me the most attempts because I got wave 10 devices 9 times in a row  with a hand full of wave 6 devices mixed in.

Im looking forward to getting my pc thurs. Want to see what 60fps is like.

Also, ive tried heart of hydra soo many times. When/if I get that challenge done, I can retire from mass effect jk

Right now for me it's between Widow's Poison, Sochi, and attempting to get a sub-30 on Monster Mash Hardcore. Just now I failed on wave 9 cause I had no more gels. 23:37. >.<

I don't even understand how you did that! I'd possibly vote for getting 5WS on that one being one of the harder ones.

 

I'm thinking about giving some of the weekly challenges a go once I finish N7/ give up in a blaze of frustration, so i guess I'll get to experience the joy of those ones then.
