Sure there are the rumors about the trilogy coming onto next gen, but that's not in question here. True or not, I'm asking:

1) would you buy it?

2) Sometimes remasters touch up on things, or sometimes even add or erase features, what would you like to see?

3) any other ideas about it?

 

For me:

1) I have ME 1-3 on all systems even wii u. So i'm far beyond overkill. So yes I'll buy it haha, i'm a mass effect junkie.

2) Graphics are a given, I'd like to see, if possible, better friendly AI. Ex in ME2 prominently, when a friendly gets hit by a rocket, they get hit off cover and then don't get back into cover. Little fixes like that would go a long way for me

3) All the dlc included. What would REALLY sell me though is if your previous gen online profile carries over. I mean it should since it's all origin connected right? I'd really rather not start over, all those spectre packs and all >.>

1: Yes if ALL DLC is included - Although it would be the 4th time I've purchase the triology(yup I have problems)

 

2. I'd maybe remodel some textures so they are the same throughout i.e. Have the same Shepard customisations of from 3 on 1, I'd actually also like some armour customisation for all characters not just Shepard so you can have a uniform look.

 

3. Dream changes, allow for Tali as a romance in 1 or allow post ending content - even a teaser for what Mass Effect 4 should be.

Have gender equality in hospital. What I mean is with regards to the hospital in Mass Effect 3. If you have Kaiden in your party when you visit him in the hospital he is found brusied and topless on a hospital bed. If you have Ashley you find her also brusied but wearing a standard military issue t-shirt. I'm not saying that Ashley should also be nude that'd be silly but a little consistancy would be good hell even if you found both in a hospital gown it would be better. It's a small thing but it's always bugged me mind you that may just be because I have an issue with the general concept of topless man ok, topless women = sexual but that's a debate for another day.

I can't see it for myself. I already have the trilogy on PC, which is still miles better than any 'next-gen' console. Maybe down the road if they release a re-mastered trilogy where there are massive rebuilds of all three games with improved choices, consequences and a better ending then sure. Just to buy it again? Nah.

1)If I get a PS4, and if it includes all DLC, and it more than *only* a direct port, then maybe. Otherwise, sticking to PC (was originally on XB360).

 

2)Significantly smoother combat. Most ideally (aka not gonna happen), an outright redo of ME1 on the ME2-3 engine, with ME2-3 themselves just 'remastered'.

 

3)If it doesn't include every DLC, I'd even go to the lengths of outright telling people *not* to get it unless they're totally new to the series and only use PS4/360.

Maybe. If they're straight up remasters with no bug fixes and no improvements then I'll pass. For me to buy them again they'll have to fix the bug in 2 where some of the dialogue and audio won't load (but the subtitles for that missing dialogue still appears), fix the god awful journal in 3 so you can see if you have certain quest objects, and overall texture issues in 1. Obviously, all the DLC included would be a boon (including the Dr Pepper promo items and preorder items) but they would seriously have to fix Pinnacle Station or outright can it.

I would love to replay the trilogy again on my PS4, optimized and having ALL DLC fully integrated into the games. Of course I would love to see ME1 remade with the far superior game systems of its sequels, the game hasn't aged well outside its story.

I would buy a Trilogy ME1-3 provided it came with all DLC's etc. So yes, as long as it was a Trilogy Ultimate Edition much like Bioware did with some of their other games, like i have DA1+2 as Ultimates.

Looking at the responses so far seems like people would like it depending on whether or not all DLC is included, I'd also like to add a stipulation of depending on the price.

 

I know it's a trilogy and I know it would be next gen but they really couldn't go more that say $10 more than what the triolgy bundle cost on the PS3 so somewhere ins $60-$70 region

I'd love to see a remake. I'd be more than happy to earn every single achievement again on Next Gen if I must. It'd be nice if they brought the DLC over at no extra charge as well. But I'd like to see what they are doing with the next Mass Effect game first, before working on remakes.

I would re buy the trilogy only if ME1 was updated with new graphics and not just a up conversion.

If It has ALL the DLC on the 3 games, I would consider it for a possible PS4 I might get someday.

Now that I think about what I would want, Just update the graphics for the games. That is all. and BDTS for ME 1, all story DLC for ME 2, and all DLC for ME 3

If:

-All DLC is added (Even Pinnacle Station and Pre-order items)

-Each game has ME3 combat system (don't know how feasible that is). Pinnacle Station might actually be a bit fun with ME3's combat

-Updated and uniform textures for each

-New armors

-A more robust facial construction system with added hairstyles

-Would be cool if one button didn't do EVERYTHING (A, X, Spacebar on PC?)

I'm a ME junkie. You can bet everything you want, yes, I would buy the trilogy for next gen consoles. If they included all the DLCs(which only makes sense) doubly so, but even if not. Probably a little sad, but hey, that's how much I love this trilogy, endings and everything included.

 

What would I really like to see? ME3 combat system(combos and cover system and everything else) in all three games. Give me that and well... you can have my first born child.

i own all mass effect on pc and ps3 if they choose to make the trilogy for ps4 i will buy it day 1 for sure !

but all dlc must be included from every game!

else i wont be worth it.

That said, I would gladly buy the trilogy on day one if they do a port to PS4/XB1 (PS4 is where I would play it, despite coming from an Xbox 360 for my original copies).

1. and 2. I can see happen 3. on the other hand won't happen it will just be a update of the textures and maybe a couple of minor tweaks to the games other than that there would be no changes.

I'd consider getting the game only if they added the option for the combat of ME1 to be available in the sequels.  I know I am alone on this but I found the combat in ME1 to be far more fun than that of the two sequels.

Otherwise I'd like to wholly agree that it'd be nice for the DLC to be built into the game, well except Pinnacle Station.
