Well if it looked as good as the new Dragon Age:Inquisuition is looking (next-gen DA game) I'd be a must-buy, but if it's just a graphical touch-up, like most of these deals are, it certainly wouldn't be worth it for me. My trophies on PS3 carry over to my PS4 account also, rather not have to go through the accomplishments again simply for a graphical touch-up.

I'd consider getting the game only if they added the option for the combat of ME1 to be available in the sequels. I know I am alone on this but I found the combat in ME1 to be far more fun than that of the two sequels.
Otherwise I'd like to wholly agree that it'd be nice for the DLC to be built into the game, well except Pinnacle Station.
i also enjoyed ME1 combat but i would rather they use whatever gameplay system they plan on using for the next Mass Effect game. but i liked Pinnacle Station and was disappointed it wasn't in the ps3 version.

Not going to happen, ME2/3 is considered by many to be much better than ME1's, they aren't going add a feature that only a very tiny percentage will use.

Seeing how this is going to be a port not not a remake I don't think there will be any changes on the mechanics, it's just the all the dlc in the trilogy and some slilght improvement on textures.I want the overheating mechanic to stay though.

I'm not talking about the trilogy edition. I'm talking about a remake that should be done. I doubt there will be a remake, most people seem content with whats already there.

I'd buy it for PlayStation 4, but only if it included all/most DLC for each game, including ME3's Citadel and Omega (I don't really care about Leviathan or From Ashes, but other people might). Others like ME1's Bring Down the Sky and ME2's Lair of the Shadow Broker and Overlord would be really cool, too!
Also, some HD textures for the original Mass Effect would be nice - not necessary, but nice nonetheless.

But I'd be surprised to see it in less than a year at the earliest.
Former gen ports didn't start appearing on the PS3 for a couple years
Though the original PS3 was backwards comparable and digital downloads weren't really a thing on consoles back then.

I would get it for the ps4. I don't see it being available till sometime next year

Agree with the OP fully. I'd buy the ever-loving **** out of a remastered trilogy!!

I would definitely give it some thought since all three games are great fun to play and I wouldn't mind going them all again on the PS4. That being said, however, I wouldn't pay if we're just given a slightly updated look with shiny environments. I would love to play ME3 multiplayer again with a bigger player pool and updated visuals but as most of you have said, it would depend on a few things -
1. The visual updates are noticeable enough to justify re-releasing all three games
2. All of the purchaseable DLC is included for each game (don't mind missing out on the promotional items)
3. More character customization options would be nice but I doubt it would be included
4. ME3's multiplayer became far more active

I don't see why they wouldn't include the DLC in the possible next-gen remake. When they ported ME2 to the PS3 they included all the DLC that was currently out at the time. Same thing with ME1.

DLC inclusion would be the deciding factor for me. I'm not paying an arm and a leg rebuying the trilogy AND all the DLC for each one.

I'd get it it all DLC were included. I don't want them to "fix" any of the games. Leave as is. Updated graphics, include DLC, I'm good to go.

Sure there are the rumors about the trilogy coming onto next gen, but that's not in question here. True or not, I'm asking:
1) would you buy it?
2) Sometimes remasters touch up on things, or sometimes even add or erase features, what would you like to see?
3) any other ideas about it?
For me:
1) I have ME 1-3 on all systems even wii u. So i'm far beyond overkill. So yes I'll buy it haha, i'm a mass effect junkie.
2) Graphics are a given, I'd like to see, if possible, better friendly AI. Ex in ME2 prominently, when a friendly gets hit by a rocket, they get hit off cover and then don't get back into cover. Little fixes like that would go a long way for me
3) All the dlc included. What would REALLY sell me though is if your previous gen online profile carries over. I mean it should since it's all origin connected right? I'd really rather not start over, all those spectre packs and all >.>
Your turn.
I've beat the campaigns12 times and I wouldn't think twice about buying it again. I hope they would let us keep are profiles even though I accidentally converted my grenade launcher in me1 and can't use grenades.

I'd buy it for sure. I've played all three games way too much, but I love them, so that's okay. It would be great to see a graphical upgrade. I don't really trust people who say that graphics aren't important in games, I think that the truth is that in games like these the cinematic experience of it all is important, photo realism, along with believable writing and skilled voice acting, is just another thing that contributes to the illusion of reality within fiction (in a medium such as this anyway), so the closer we can bring these kinds of video games to the level of live-action the better.
And to be completely honest, regardless of graphics, I'd probably just buy it on PS4 because I'm a total nerd and would get really excited about a new ME release. I rebought Tomb Raider for PS4, I'm a sucker, but whatever it's cool.

I had the whole series and DLC for Xbox 360 but recently traded in my 360 and games. I'm torn between getting it for PS3 and waiting for the rumoured PS4 release... can really only justify one or the other but if I wait too long it gets harder to get the Trilogy on PS3. Wish they'd announce it offcially one way or the other.

I'm moving soon and thinking about getting a PS4 so if I don't get custody of the Xbox and the Mass Effect games yeah I might pick up the trilogy on PS4 (especially if all the DLC is included).

I think I'd like to see the Mass Effect trilogy on at least PS4 & XBOX One... I'd like to specifically see the original Mass Effect graphics remastered, and possibly the "mini game" of exploring the planets to resemble something more like Mass Effect 2, where it was more fun.

If they could include all the DLC and tweak ME1 to get rid of the texture drop-in and to add individual party assignments like ME1 (PC), ME2 and ME3 I'd be extremely happy to fork out for it on PS4!

I would get the trilogy on my PS4 if they included all the DLC too. If they updated the textures that would be cool too.

Yep. With all the DLC included definitely.
Wouldn't mind if they touched up the graphics on ME1 either.
